Danny Garcia vs berto Ortiz winner?

Kind of a pointless fight but I don't really expect anything more from Danny Garcia at this point. We already know the drill with him. Big fight.......tune up......medium level fight......tune up.....big fight....repeat.

Don't like any of those fights. But in reality who else can he fight if they are all tied up at the moment. A unification with Vargas would be the best option but I doubt that will get made. Looks like Haymon will get all of Floyd's victims to make what ever case they are trying to make with Danny

another tune up fight for danny lol. he seriously hasnt fought a threat since matthysse 3 years ago thats not true. what about herrera and peterson? herrera was a cherry pick at the time because they didn't do their research and yea garcia lost that one. peterson also probably was about a draw in a fight above 140 to favor garcia so another cherry pick in a way. yea he is garbage

Garcia is a champion he should be facing guys like Thurman or Porter.

I think it's another famous Garcia cherry pick. Garcia can easily beat either of them but so what? He is supposed to be a world champion and he should act like one. There must be at least a dozen welterweights Garcia could defend his title against who are better and more deserving of a title shot than Berto or Ortiz. The loser of the Thurman-Porter fight would be a much better fight for Garcia than Berto or Ortiz. Of course Garcia fighting the winner would be even better. Fighting the winner of Spence vs Algieri would also be better.

I don't mind him getting an easier fight if he ends the year against Thurman v Porter winner or Kell Brook.

Danny "Swift" Garcia vs Andre "SOG" Berto is bound to happen sometime this year and i am not mad at it, Berto is a pretty solid competitor. Im down for this sht yo.

Khan or Thurman-Porter winner better be next after that.

I think the winner of this would be better than fukin Omar figeroua who's like 5 in wbc. The Vargas fight ain't happening with arums "just give me a call" crap That would be on the same level, pretty fun action fight (probably is actually better in that regard) but not important (probably less so because at least Berto and Ortiz are real welters).

Would make some sense, Garcia gets a fairly easy first defense and the winner gets another shot at glory. Would probably be a fun fight though because Garcia really isn't in the business of blowing people out he grinds out hard fought victories, Berto would certainly hit Garcia with some uppercuts while eating a ton of left hooks, Ortiz is a southpaw but that would allow Garcia to continue to polish that straight right which he needs to do and Ortiz if he can pull it together has physical ability he would likely just fold mentally to Danny Garcia because Garcia has a much stronger fighting mentality. Certainly not very important, but would probably be worth watching as just an entertaining fight.

That was 2 years ago. He's won 2 since. Ortiz has new vigor and hunger these days. He's coming to make a statement in the Berto rematch. Like a lot of the other people here, I don't have much faith in Ortiz. He seems a little dim. I have major doubts that he still has the goods. Even at his best he was questionable.

Is this another warm up fight. Another fight where the Garcia team can feel safe and believe they have a sure fire win. Danny better be careful fighting these hasbeens because if he continues this way he may end up getting beat by one of them and that won't look good.
