KELL BROOK (35-0, 24KOs) hopes getting on his bike will keep him on track for a clash with rival world champ Danny Garcia (32-0, 18KOs). Click Here To Read More]
I'll never know why people are still getting duped by whatever big name this Brook guy had to mention. Remember, he also dropped Thurman's name just some months ago. He mentioned Bradley, negotiated with Rios, believe it or not. Canceled the Chaves fight, which not a few people looked forward to despite being a lackluster choice. And now he's dropping Garcia's name, then Cotto.
Man aren't you getting sick of this clown? Seriously!
His main focus is Khan. Nobody else. He will keep on fighting No no Dans until he gets the Khan fight. Doesn't matter whether Khan loses five times in a row.
Khan is Brook's world.
HBO mentioned Cotto not Kell, Hearn just made it public. Kell WILL be in a big fight next, if you don't think so then lets have a bet, $500?

I Would Pay Any Amount Of Money To See This Fight
Finally a full fledged, in his prime, Welterweight in Brook as opposed to these "names" well past their prime, to spice up Garcia's resume at 147. Haymon won't have the ballz to make this fight happen, because Brooks athleticism, defense, punching power, conditioning, and ring generalship, would give Danny a "swift" beatdown. No way Haymon offers that fight up, despite how much fans would love to see it. Al will sit tight to strategically find another "name" past his prime; maybe a 42 yr old Juan Manuel Marquez or Mike Alvarado.

The motorpoint for boxing holds about 10k I believe. Hearn said they've sold 9k. So i'm sure it'll be fine

Really?
Garcia-Brook doesn't seem to far fetched to me. Al Haymon is matching up his elite welterweight really though (See Canelo-Khan & Thurman-Porter). Danny vs Kelly make it happen, i like that sht. It's been a while since the last time DSG was an underdog. Kid shines under pressure, son.
I don't see it happening.
Risk/reward too wide imo for Garcia.
I really think a lot of people are sleeping on Brook due to his resume, this guy is getting underrated and to be honest I think they would be shocked if he beats Garcia, Brook is a well schooled fighter and I would pick him over Garcia if that fight happens irrespective of their resume.
I spoke to Paulie Malignaggi the other day, he told me Brook was the best WW in the world and he could also be the best 154'er.
Unfortunately, Brook and Khan's respective fights are not too far apart. Trust me, he'll be back to begging for the Khan fight when the Canelo fight is over.
What a joke
This BUm Brock dose all this talking but goes out and fights one bus driver after another. SMH

I'd love this fight, but we all know Danny & Haymon will avoid Brooke like the plague

I'm not sleeping on Kell because of his resume. It's prima facie evidence. Danny hasn't had it so easy, or cozy at home. It's hard to go with a guy who keeps all that "skill" so well protected.
promoters and belt organizations often work hand and hand to manipulate the rankings to their liking. eitehr in moving their guy up the rankings or making sure bad fighters get to the top. i wouldn't be surprised if that is why brook is getting so many easy fights. either that or the guys getting a shot at brook have very good promoters themselves.
No doubt.
Well as i said, Hearn probably doesn't care too much. If Brook is serious about wanting to fight the best then it's probably going to be a case of Hearn not getting it all his own way.
It will be the same with Joshua if he wins the title. Hearn has already basically said he will defend the belt against the same guys he would be fighting anyway, i.e. not top level heavyweights. Hearn is in tight with the IBF. They will feed AJ a few easy mandatories for a bit.
I do believe Brook would fight anybody. The problem is the IBF have been making terrible mandatories for him too, and Hearn more than happy to accept them.
Jo Jo Dan was his first mandatory, so that can't be helped. Same with his Bizier fight. He wanted Khan in the ring last year but he wouldn't so ended up doing a stay busy fight with Gavin. All his after a career threatening injury/attack.
He does need to step it up again after the Bizier fight though, there's no excuses after this one.
If the IBF keep giving him rubbish mandatories, he's better off dropping the belt and going on without it. He brings good money to the table anyway and recognised as one of the better welterweights out there, he'll get good fights without the belt if him and Hearn want them. This year is really make or break for him in becoming a big name in the boxing world.

You can't tell before they fight. Garcia's best win before he fought Khan was.. Morales?? Or Theophane?
I think Brook would have an easy time with Garcia, not sure about a stoppage. but he's a better boxer. I'm sure Garcia would have his moments, but Brook would comfortably win I think.
But it needs to be seen.

He deserves the fight and I want the top names to give him a chance to show how good he is.
I doing think he deserves to be considered in Garcia's class though and that he would destroy Garcia type comments as he hasn't fought anyone other than one good win. Which he deserves credit for though
