Well you're asking, why bring up Ward. It'd be odd if he didn't, cause you know, he's training Wards opponent next week. You'll find its very common in boxing, like happens every time
Lol a past prime ward still beat your hero Abel Sanchez fighter
What I'm learning about Boxing scene is that Ward/GGG matters though neither guy has EVER FOUGHT in the other's division while both were pros. Ward last weighed 160 in April of 2006. GGG debuted a month later.
That Ward has nuthuggers but yet nobody goes to his fights.
That both sides don't even realize both fighters are really effing good.
Many of y'all are batisht crazy.
K2, Sanchez, Lil g jock sniffers.
Why even bring Wards name up anymore?
Stop asking like they wanted it.
Golovkin would have caught a L.
We all know it.
Just let it be.
Don't worry Abel will be eating his words soon

No, I think I'm in the right thread.

Ward would end little G's career. Think Froch-Bute.
Why would you think that? Seems totally random. Even Ward Abraham makes more sense and that's not saying much
Sanchez looks well over 160, and he's boosting his guys chances vs much favored opponent next week. Standard boxing fare. Wrong thread?

Why would I be worked up over a 160 ponder barking, dude?
Keep those mandatory "master of the universe" straps happy.
If Golovkin wants to spend his next years fighting at the weight, fine.
Ward would have beat that ass.
And they know it.

Sanchez is training his next opponent dude, a week from now. Don't get too worked up about it

The purses they would command to fight each other pretty much guarantees Ward/Golovkin would have been PPV. There's no way HBO could have afforded it otherwise. Plus both sides pretty much only talked about it as a PPV.
Yes, but ppvs are usually not made based on outsized purse demands, but on the ability to sell enough to cover those purses. Ggg has put in a lot of work so at this point he might be able to carry a Ward Ppv (far more expensive than Lemieux)
Unless you consider the likes of Ortiz and Guerrero great fighters, that list would only include SRL. If you do than I can name about 10 fighters that fought elite or great fighters after a long layoff.
Mosley is a hall of famer, marquez, cotto were all after a year off
Stop trying to act oblivious n troll all the time.
Abel trying to take Freddie Roach's job of being the trainer saying the nuttiest ****. Granted its possible he could be right, but I don't think we've seen anything to suggest that its a fact yet.
Abel is the biggest bull****ter in boxing
Why do you assume that GGG/Ward would have been PPV?
No Andre Ward fight has ever been PPV before and GGG made his PPV debut AFTER he got that "fight me sometime next year" offer from Ward.

Your right GGG is the #1 MW. But when the fight was talked about Ward was still at 168 or willing to fight at it and K2 seems to more then willing to go to 168 for a big name just not Ward.
Ward /GGG would have been a PPV and a fight hardcore boxing fans would have loved with the winner being able to make claim as the #1 P4P. the only fight bigger $ on the horizon for GGG is Canelo who doesn't seem to be in a hurry to fight him, everyone else at MW isn't a attractive fight or is over on the PBC side.
Since most of the big names on 168 are on the PBC side Ward has decided to chase greatness and go up and probably face Kov in the fall.
Not saying Gennadys scared because the guys a warrior but K2 didn't/don't want to chase greatness they seem content with being the #1 guy in a weak division and with fighting the Wades,Lemiuex and Minroes of the world. I'm a GGG fan but it's been a couple years and he isn't getting any younger it's time for him to fight a legit name.
