Looking forward to Thurman-Porter, Wilder-Povetkin, Mares-Cuellar, and Frampton-Santa Cruz. Also Jack-Bute is not a bad fight, not that good but watchable, it can turn out good due to styles.
If HBO doesn't step it up with their boxing programming then I will have to cancel my subscription.
I cancelled mine long ago.
oh noooo HBO going broke
I have to lol when I see stuff like this because I recall threads bashing Showtime and PBC just a couple months ago. Now, the tides change once again and HBO's light is looking dim. I'm sure it'll sway again before long. I still don't know why anyone sides with a network. That's the sad side of extreme fandom IMO.
The only "thing" Haymon is doing in the sport is making money. I already have what I need, so nothing to be jealous about. And if I wanted to still be doing shows, I would be. Maybe the concept of "retirement" is something you are not familiar with? That being said, when this PBC thing runs its course, and no (broadcast) network opens their wallet to buy his content, Im sure you will have a new alt all ready to go.....
Meanwhile I also will be watching the shows, because I love boxing. I just dont take any personal satisfaction based on whose logo is hanging on the light grid. I almost feel bad for you that you try and elevate yourself via the achievements of others, as that is a sure sign of someone who has no achievements of their own to stand on. But maybe if you spent a little time actually DOING something, instead of just living vicariously through others, you might just be a bit more fulfilled.
Or perhaps not. Either way its your problem.
Edit: and lastly, I "attack" him, because I believe what he is doing is wrong. He is violating the Ali Act, and trying to create a monopoly, which is in nobodys best interests but his own. I am against that, and am not afraid to say so, under my own name. But other than him being black, why exactly do you support what he is doing so staunchly? You cant honestly believe his "system" is best for the sport?
why is it you always suggest every poster that either criticizes GGG or doesn't criticize Al Haymon is black?

So, so much butthurt here.
Yup, I'm jealous that Haymon doesn't use me as one of his main promoters for his shows. I'd be making a ton of money if he did, but I just don't like the guy so I'll continue to remain a jobless promoter with no fighters.
Ah, I see. Sorry to hear about that man.
Perhaps you should seek out Bob Arum's services? Maybe he'll have a show for you to co-promote with him? :lol1:
And you're always right there on the front lines attacking him and his every move. Why is that? Is there a bit of jealousy involved? Perhaps you wish you had been able to do what he's doing in the sport? Maybe if you had been a better promoter you'd be one of the lead promoters for his cards like DiBella. But instead you choose to hate and it's pretty obvious why that is.
Carry on. I know I'll have a great time watching these great upcoming fights. Are any promoted by OnePunch Promotions by any chance? :lol1:

lol EXACTLY. Everytime there is positive news on the Haymon front, that clown is right here, as if its some sort of personal achievement for him.

At least he has something to defend. What about you? Haymon's/Showtimes schedule isn't yours to defend. Pretty silly post
Anyway, i'm looking forward to the fights coming up on Showtime, and i'm glad some fighters got another chance (like Ruslan) on premium tv

Its funny how Arum is saying @GoldenBoyBoxing played HBO, when he's the one who took Pacquiao to @SHOsports— Oscar De La Hoya (@OscarDeLaHoya) March 19, 2013
I'm 40 Richard is 50 Arum is 90 good luck HBO. Smart move by Ken Hershman the man who was sinking Showtime before Stephen Espinoza took over— Oscar De La Hoya (@OscarDeLaHoya) March 19, 2013
BTW I just subscribed back to #hbo #ButevsPascal— Oscar De La Hoya (@OscarDeLaHoya) January 19, 2014
lmaooooooo
What a crack fiend. Poor Oscar.
He should have just deleted the tweets altogether instead of retreating a year later.
They could put 90% of Boxing on Showtime and it's ALWAYS going to come down to who has more subscribers between both Networks, and it's ALWAYS HBO.
Even when Oscar and Haymon were working together and they took their "Talents" over to Showtime, HBO still beat them in ratings almost all the time just because they simply have more subscribers who not all are Sports / Boxing fans but if a fight is on they'll watch. A LOT of HBO's ratings come from that.
For me it doesn't matter either way because I stream the **** out of both HBO and Showtime and a lot of people are too these days. I haven't had Cable in 2 years and I see more Showtime fights now than I did back then

Good job to Showtime getting some fights back on the Network. It was bound to happen anyway.
I canceled my Hbo subscription.— Oscar De La Hoya (@OscarDeLaHoya) March 31, 2013
:lol1:
Wouldn't surprise me if this snake had 5 HBO accounts running in his house just to boost those numbers a little more. :lol1:
lol HBO is killing showtime and making it look easy just look at the numbers every time they go head to head. hell even after showtime signed fraud to an exclusive deal they still couldn't beat HBO.
Ego and some other PBC fans are thanking Al, but I don't think Haymon should be getting credit, I think he was force to go back to Showtime.
