Wow, I thought Canelo would win (easy), Khan needs to lay off the brew or whatever.
I wonder how much he will slow down at the higher weight, looking at that pic, he looks like crap.
He would have been better off coming in comfortable, Floyd barely put on weight for De La Hoya and Canelo (if I remember correct).
2 months for the fight, he will need to lose weight and train, this fight will be over quick.
At least it will be fun while it last.
Looks like Ronda Rousey

someone should photoshop the two together, maybe with bradley in background
:lol1: Kahn might have nicer tits actually.
Don't see why not its not like he is jumping up to an obscene weight class.
He'll be 155 on the scales, probably 160+ by fight night. This means he will be 10lb+ over any weight he has been previously in a boxing match, that's a lot to retain speed and stamina and the fluidity of being light on your feet. Khan needs all that to try and pop and move against Canelo.

fat never turns to muscle..it either stays or burns away
As someone who worked as a strength coach from age 21-25, that is the single most ridiculous myth of them all. The amount of people that would say they wanted to bulk up and convert their fat to muscle would genuinely leave me speechless.
He's got at least 30lbs to lose which won't be too difficult given that it's all body fat, he's not having to lose any essential weight.
That pic is blurry and doesn't show the abdominal definition which Khan has, which is very comparable to Canelo's abdominal definition. It's a misleading pic. Neither of them are particularly ripped, but in non-blurry reality they both look in a similar decent condition at this point.
1. Khan is breathing out, compared to Canelo breathing in.
2. The picture is not very sharp, hence abs are completely undefined.
3. Khan is bulking up, and then cutting weight. Easier to turn fat into muscle, then build muscle through eating protein and working out. Khan is using the same method he used for the Collazo fight. He came in light vs Algieri and followed a different plan.
4. Khan will come into the fight at around 161/2 lbs, slightly heavier then he did vs. Alexander, and this extra muscle will be around the trap region, legs, biceps and abs.

He's got a lot of muscle under all that, you can see it. You can't put on muscle without eating and cultivating mass.
It's time to stop cultivating and start harvesting!
He has to put on some extra weight and then boil down a bit so only muscle is left. It's not unusual. My main concern is will he be bale to move around with the extra weight for 12 rounds?
Don't see why not its not like he is jumping up to an obscene weight class.

My exact thoughts :lol1:
He looks a lot better and defined than when he started camp for Collazo

7 weeks later he looked like this

You make a good point, I was thinking about this, Khan seems to lose weight and get in shape pretty quickly. Seems like he gains and loses weight fast.
He's still getting destroyed though, but I'll be rooting for him.
Khan's getting brutally destroyed. Canelo is like 9% bodyfat at 175lbs much much naturally bigger and he's faster than people give him credit for.
Cotto hits way harder than Khan and Canelo just walked through him, wasn't fazed one bit by his punches.
the speed man the speeeeed

He is using the same diet and strength and conditioning method he used vs Collazo.
