I see a trend in roach's approach. All of his fighters are supposed to be so busy attacking that they all fall victim to the left hook. What did Danny knock him out with again?
There isn't enough I can say about this video
Firstly - This is Khan training in an attempt to get a KO against PEDerson in the rematch
Why the hell did they train to do such a thing? Once Khan drained down to 140 the only figth he should have been readying for was a boxing match with Lamont.
Lamont fails a drug test, The unknown stronger & more powerful D.Garcia is brought in as a replacement. The rest if history.
no wonder Khan got KTFO.
Should have ditched Roach after Judah victory & moved up to 147. Bradley had avoided him so there was nothing left to do in the division really. But hey hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Floyd Mayweather averages 1 million PPV every single fight.
Khan averages..........
Because people want to see Floyd get beat, not because he's entertaining.
Hitler would probably do good numbers too.
Amir Khan was his sturdiest when with Roach. He was glass chinned before Roach and is glass chinned after Roach. with Roach he ate bomb after bomb from punchers before going on queer street.
His only chance to have beaten Alvarez was to get back with Roach and be thrown into the fire.
And his downfall vs Garcia was letting Angel's trash talk get to him. He didn't follow Roach's gameplan.
Say what you want about roach but Khan looked far better under him in my opinion never would have went as tight with algeiri under roach that said he probably wasnt the perfect fit I just think he needs someone to settle him down a bit no need for a drastic style change
Virgil said he was left gobsmacked when Khan started doing this in sparring during their first two camps
Its a mentality that is hard to get rid of once you have been doing it for so long.
I think Khan made the right decision leaving Roach, taking that kind of punishment during sparring is no healthy, i don't see what he gains from it..
AK is a ballsy muthaf×cka :lol1:...can't deny that....but those type of shootouts don't really benefit him but then again he wouldn't be the dude he is if it did...RESPECT
I had Swift vs AK a draw going into the fight...I also felt like it would be a top candidate for FOTY.....who knows if Bayless had given AK one more chance, that fight could've easily turned into a modern day classic because Swift had a tendency to fade late...:dunno:
