What are you talking about with Khan taking a voluntary defense at 155?Just because Canelo and Khan agreed to fight at 155 doesn't mean 155 is a real weight class. Khan will be the WBC 160 pound champ if he wins not the 155 anything.. You don't dictate sh*t in regards to what Khan can or cannot do as the new WBC middleweight champ. The WBC runs their show and they will decide what Khan must do to retain his new title. I doubt they will make GGG wait any longer for his long overdue chance to win the WBC middleweight title in the ring. I believe they would order Khan to fight GGG next or be stripped of his title which would then go to GGG. If the WBC doesn't do this they are worthless and don't even enforce their own rules. It really doesn't matter because Canelo is almost certainly knocking Khan out.

Loeffler is putting unnecessary pressure on the Khan camp, lying to the media that if Khan wins, he will have to face Golovkin next or vacate. The only agreement that Loeffler has is that Canelo must face Golovkin at the 160lb limit after his voluntary defence, which in this case is Amir Khan. If Khan wins, he can choose to: 1) Have a voluntary defence at 155lbs, and then fight Golovkin at 160lbs ..or 2) Take a voluntary defence at 155lbs, then unify with either Billy Joe Saunders or Danny Jacobs (or whoever holds their titles at that moment in time) at any weight both parties agree to, and then fight Golovkin at the 160lb limit. So Khan can easily push the Golovkin fight into mid to late 2017, if he is to beat Canelo. Also, Khan can even even make Golovkin come over to the UK, and fight on British soil with British judges. yawn....actually Loeffler is correct at this time. Where is your information supporting the assertion that Khan is even entitled to a voluntary defense? also, since Danny Jacobs is a secondary titlist (WBA regular champ), that would not be considered a unification bout by any sanctioning organization. So scratch that one. Khan could possibly get away w/ unifying with BJS before GGG as that is a true unification fight your post reeks of Team Khan
