so I'm not the most religious.... but I was raised Catholic and I get that manny has took his leap of faith and if this is what he believes,I'm fine with it. it says in the bible that homosexuality is a sin... one of the worst. So that's what manny believes and he's sticking with it. I respect that manny hasen't backpedelled to much and is keeping his stance. Americans we can be so soft and get our feelings hurt to much. if your gay your gay and if your religious this is the way your suppose to feel....either way I got my tickets and flight booked to Vegas so I'll standby manny as a fan
Pacquiao is going to get himself some slaves. It's all good the bible says he can. it even lists how to treat them.
Yup. The Bible is a book that has many authors and editors and was written a long f**king time ago.
If you take everything in the bible literally (which it seems like Pacquaio does), then you are pretty stupid. The bible has some amazing stories that teach some good life lessons but it shouldn't be taken literally.
Let's see how your tune changes when your son comes out with a skirt and a tiara and tell you daddy I'm gay. Reply to this then.
My tune wouldn't change you ignorant f*ck.
All I care about is his health and his happiness.
My son has been brought up to respect everyone's feelings, beliefs and cultures.
What if you had a son who was gay? Would you disown him?
Saying he doesn't approve is one thing, saying 'they're worse than animals' is an another thing altogether.
Nothing in this world is clear.
Who is anybody to say what's right or wrong?
Who the f*ck is Manny to be judging how other people live their lives? A man who watches two c*cks fight to the death, and who cheats on his wife and the mother of his children?
Anybody who goes through life doing what they want, whenever they want, whilst at the same time judging other people, is an absolute moron of the highest order.

What does the bible say about cheating on the mother of your children?
Is God down with that?
I stand behind Pacquiao a 100%. I am not religious, at all, but nature itself provides the answer. Females have a vagina which was specifically designed for a male's penis to go into, and only thru that hole can a woman get pregnant and give birth. She has another hole, just as male humans do, called anus which nature uses to dispose of feces. We humans give it extra uses, but nature did not. Not much logic or reasoning needs to go into these type of situations when it is so plain and clear in front of our faces.

Maybe I'm missing something. Didn't he apologize? Then when Nike dropped him he didn't have any endorsement to lose so he's now basically saying **** that apology. Sounds fake to me
I think they did & I think they do expect that. "They" not just being Nike, but anyone who hires people to endorse their products or services. And I'm not even saying Nike or anyone else shouldn't do that.
Its an impossibility to not offend SOMEONE with SOMETHING you said. In particular these days when momos are talking about micro aggressions & pussified **** like that.
And I mean Manny is running for a political position & was talking about his beliefs in an interview. Is he just supposed to go against his own beliefs & lie, regardless if you or I like his beliefs, or is he supposed to not answer any questions that could offend someone?
Manny Pacquiao has been against same-sex marriage/relations for years at this point; Nike has known his beliefs and have done business with him regardless.
Stepping out and drawing the parallel that gay people were less than animals, beliefs or not, was too much.
This world is a joke.
So, Manny thinks being gay is wrong and unnatural?
Yet it's okay for him to watch c*ck fighting and have affairs behind his wife's back?
I despair.
I don't understand why he apologized.
He has more than enough money to tell everyone to fk off.
He apologized because some people was hurt by his comment. Pacquiao doesn't hate gays, he loves everybody. He just doesn't agree with the gay agenda.

LOL, but yea honestly me too.
I think the animals don't same sex f#ck was ignorant cuz animals will f#ck anything whatever the plumbing looks like so that just made him sound stupid to me, but if you don't respect the gay lifestyle or feel its the right way to live fair enough. I think this "you gotta like everyone" PC bs is one of the dumbest movements going on these days. Granted you are gonna hurt your sellability, but this is Manny's going away party so he don't gotta worry THAT much about it & your sellability is overrated in general & in particular when you've made as much money as Manny has any damn way.
Nike never expected Pacquiao to adopt the "you gotta like everyone" ethos; any business that would expect that of its' pitchmen is destined to flop. Nike simply expect Pacquiao to follow the "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say ****" ethos, that parents have been teaching their children for generations. Like basically every issue, same-sex marriage has 40% who oppose, 40% who support/tolerate, and 20% who are somewhere in between (general population). You don't see 40% of folks getting flamed for their stance, so there's worth to biting one's tongue.
Beyond that, I'd hold off on Pacquiao hanging his hat on the money he's made; BIR and IRS, as late as December 2015, are still hounding him down for owed back taxes(with the IRS adding an additional three tax years into question) and Pacquiao has been outright profligate with his spending (while not seeming to have any income generating vehicles outside of his fights).
With Pacquiao-Bradley III maybe being a $20m fight for Pacquiao, his status as a smiling pitchman, hawking product, was likely the way that he was going to end up settling his financial affairs.
That's no longer a possibility, as far as in the near future.

Two points:
-Old Testament vs New Testament; the Old Testament has outlined countless sins that are punishable by death (with other sins to maim individuals), while the New Testament('the testament of Jesus Christ') leaves the punishment for such sins to God. With Pacquiao now claiming to be evangelism, It's is odd to see him lean so heavily on the old Testament.
-Pacquiao is only newly religious; can't find any date/time for the religious fervor, but I doubt that he was speaking of Christ before 2007/2008. With Pacquiao's life being as wild and hedonistic as it was before finding Christ, I wonder what one would find if they went looking.
Had no intention of buying the PPV, and was weighing out my interest in the final fight card, to see if I was gonna head to my usual bar to watch. Still on the fence.
I don't really agree with him, but yes I respect him for sticking to his guns, and more importantly taking the heat that comes with it. Most men would have already tried to spin their words in hopes of reprieve, at least he is not shying away from the consequences.
