Andrade stalked Lara like he's some celebrity and Lara refused to make the fight. And Lara chose Rodriguez, Ishe Smith and Zaveck. Man, come on, stop this silly nonsense about this twitter guy.

GGG has fought many top 10 and top 5 fighters at MW already. To say that some JMW (who you admit may or may not be on that level) would be his best opponent is ridiculous. He wouldn't be the in GGG's top 5 wins, Canelo already fought him, and (for BJS) Andy Lee would be favored over him. What are GGG's 5 best wins/opponents? I assume Lemieux, Murray, Geale, Macklin, Stevens....not all that impressive tbh. Yes he's beating the top guys at MW, but there are guys missing. It might not be his fault, but it still matters. Lara is stylistically tougher than almost every GGG opponent and the physical attributes to have some success. However, all of that becomes moot because he isn't in line to face GGG nor is he a relevant MW.

What's mind-boggling is Lara is not even trying to make the fights he claim he's interested in making. Jacobs is available. Quillin is available. Lee is available. The first two are stable mates and the other can fight anywhere. Thus they're all pretty easy to make. I don't think this guy and Decubas have even consulted with Haymon. Lara and Decubas are defrauding the fans. All they can do is tweet.

Well look at the empirical facts regarding Lara's career the past year or so. He hasn't done anything noteworthy....wins against Zaveck, Smith and Rodriguez are pretty awful. If anything Lara is heavily trending in the wrong direction and pretty much ruining any momentum his career may have had a few years ago. He already ruined the momentum he got from facing Canelo. What's currently keeping him relevant is the fact that he's at the top of the division, and the fact that he's feeding off GGG's momentum by saying he wants to fight him. Once he beats Andrade/Smith/Charlos, he won't have any reason to name-drop GGG.
