Very good fight, I expect Algieri to test the young fighter to the fullest Algieri been in with some good fighters and held his own so it would be disrespectful to write him off as some Cherry Picked opponent that will just show up to lose. Algieri has the Experience>Spence Jr that is a big advantage. I think Spence Body Shots and Inside Work will likely break Algieri down after a fast start from Algieri in which I think he will out-box Spence Jr early but then the body shots will slow him down late. Whatever "FLAW" that Spence Jr has, Algieri and talented and skilled enough to expose it

I'm really excited about this fight. Boxrec is never a good source, but I'm pretty sure this fight will get done. I'm going with Spence by decision in a very close, tough 7-5 decision

If Algieri brings it like he did versus Khan and uses his brains like he did versus Provodnikov, I see him beating the very stiff and cement footed Spence. But, what weight is this fight?

My problem with Algieri is he doesn't throw combos, he throws one's an two's I hope JDJ has him throwing punches in bunches

This is a great fight to see where Spence is at. Algieri is a tough, solid fighter who has given other world class fighters very tough fights. An impressive win would say a lot about Spence. It's no certainty that he will even win.

Algieri will be a solid test for Spence. Algieri is underrated and I'm glad Spence is ready to step up as far as competition, unlike many other boxers nowadays.

Spence is probably a bigger puncher than Provo, Khan or Pac at 147 but I like Algieri's chances of going the distance. Tough test for Spence, opportunity for both to demonstrate that they are legit contenders.

He fought Khan different than he fought Manny and Ruslan. Yeah exactly, he showed versatility, good tactics against Khan, top level guys have to show they can fight on the front and backfoot.

Good step-up for Spence. Pleasantly surprised. Think he'll have too much pop for Algieri.

Spence is talented but he is flawed. Doesn't fight well on the back foot and is stiff in his head/upper body movement. But I don't think Algieri is the man to take full advantage of his flaws. I expect Spence to win a decision in a competitive fight.

A decent fight if it gets the go ahead. These are the kind of fights Spence should be taking right now. At this stage it would be a very decent win , as Algieri ,IMO, is better than he's given credit for.

Look at Steve Cunninghams record (who is on the same card if Boxrec is right) and you see that his draw with Tarver isn't even overturned to a NC... If Spence vs. Algieri will happen it will be interesting. Algieri is tough. If Spence can get him out there, that would be a huge feather in his cap. If not he might have a hard time with Algieri and lets see what happens then. It's a real test for both.
