Andre Ward-Like Water

I findi t difficult to understand why people are a fan of this guy? Now, being a fan means to be subjective, not objective, if I was to be the latter, I can see that Ward is a good boxer who has underrated strength. But to be the former, how can one actually enjoy what Ward does? He has zero personality, he has no flashy combinations or quick footwork or power and most of his fights are a combination of elbows, shoulders, headbutts and clinches. So, what is there to like from a subjective point of view?

Clinching excessively while the ref ignores it is not skill. Nor is it an honorable way to win. Every boxing fan should agree with that. so i guessed yall missed the part when he outlanded his opponents with his hands...i get it....you dont like him or whatever you hold against him, but he has clearly beat every opponent he has faced . If he fouled as much as some of you claim he would have been DQ'ed by now...Ive watched all his high profile fights, people overexaggerate the frequency just to pump up some agenda they have news flash clinching is a part of boxing. You are taught in the gym when to clinch and how to work out of one. Once again just sounds like a losers mentality to me. Winners find a way to win and adapt, losers complain and make excuses....

Cant wait til his fight next month...this kid is special and IMO will go down as a hall of famer and a ATG from 168-175 He is a student of the game and I admire his willingness to learn. Physical things fade but a sharp mind always improves and evolves.
