Floyd Mayweather... The most controversial boxer of all time.... Officially he is undefeated, however; there are some controversial fights where people think he lost... I personally thought he loss to Pacquiao and Jose Luis Castillo. Some others believe he lost to Oscar De La Hoya and Marcos Maidana which I personally disagree. However the first Maidana fight was very close..
So how many fights did you consider Floyd Mayweather as a loser in?
Vote up and discuss.
its part of the game. If your a professional boxer losing teeth comes with the territory along with black eyes, broken noses and cracked ribs
Just showing who's getting iced that night. Enjoy the polls.
9+8+6+8 = 31 thinks he lost
25 thinks his undefeated
Well poll shows he's got holes in his record.
Undefeated who?
Floyd loses tooth from the Maidana fight.
floyd was defintely the loser that night.
This was over looked by most boxing fans, but I laughed so hard to see its actually true.
Watch how Maidana punch took out Floyd's tooth. Hilarious.
Solid white, tear drop shape. Look at the red circle marker.
Yup it's a tooth alright. 500,000 views on YouTube says it is.
Location of missing tooth:

No mouth guard at the bottom.
It's the bottom tooth. It's a fake tooth therefore no bleeding.
See pic. Missing tooth at the bottom.
A million dollar man should have a complete set of tooth, but nope his teeth ain't complete. One is missing.

It's not accurate as I have mentioned, but in this case my score card for this fight comparing it with lederman and compubox, it was pretty spot on with mine.
But it's a subjective clicking. I'm merely saying in this case compubox got it right.
But in most cases compubox most of the time is inaccurate and biased.
Conclusion: if your score card is close to what the compubox says then this fickle compubox sometimes gets it right. Like this one fight with Castillo Floyd.
Castillo won this easy. He was the won who put the hurt in the hurt business, and fired the clear and effective blows that night. Not to mention the most punches.
Translation:
Compubox is inaccurate unless it supports my agenda.
In the same thread you have said the fight could have gone either and then said Castillo won easy.
Which one is it?
He lost to Pacquiao, Maidana 1 for sure if you add all the fouls Floyd did that's an immediate DQ or shave a few rounds off to give him the win, he even Lost a Tooth from Maidana's straight right. Shows who was the dominant one, Castillo 1, Delahoya, could have gone either way. Ortiz should have been a no contest or a DQ with that lame sucker punch.
]
The Delahoya fight could go either way in my opinion. Never said that about Castillo. Castillo fight was a cake walk.
In one paragraph I wrote who I think won over Floyd. Note the coma after Castillo 1 ( 1 signifies the first fight), which means the next after that I think won was Delahoya, that could go either way..

The clip was from the first round. Ali clinched from the jump because it was part of his strategy. He did it to stop Foreman from countering his attacks. He clinched over 90 times vs Leon Spinks. Ali, in your words, was lame. LOL
Don't compare Ali the great one to Floyd. That's blasphemy. There's a huge difference between them. I'll give you a hint one is a warrior the other isn't.
If you have a boxer who is running and hugging for 12 rounds. Then what you got is energy sapping marathon bore fest of a fight. That my friend is Floyd's boxing. Don't dare compare floyd to the the great one. The great one gives a show every time. The other one makes you fall asleep.
Heavyweights are big lumbering men who burn more energy than welterweights. Heavyweights tend to clinch more since they spend energy 3 times more than small fighters. they clinch to get a breather. Yes Ali clinches, but he fights between clinches. Not like Floyd who runs and clinches to his hearts content.
Whichever way you put it. Floyd's game is an energy sapping exercise of lame boxing. You only have 3 minute of every round. And Floyd runs and hugs 80% of every round. He tskes out all the action from his hugging. Now that's just not what boxing is about. Wether it's his cowardly running or too much clinching to prevent a fighter for ever punching him. That's just pathetic boxing. Points deduction should have been given to Floyd that night.
Boxing is not a game of cat and mouse. This is a man's game. a game of bravado. Which Ali exemplifies that better than most boxers. That's why he is loved, and is called legend to this day.
Floyd don't have that real fighters mentality like Ali, he rather finish with a whimper every time.
Anyway, wether you like it or not, Floyd's overall performance in the maidana fight shows too much fouling. He got away with all that fouling since he's in Vegas were he's well protected. If he did that else where, that queer tactics won't fly and would have easily have lost him the fight.
The truth.
that's not even a lot, floyd's 70 hugs of queerness is so much more than that, hence, those were obviously subject to point deduction.
And as I said it's forgivable when boxers clinch when 2 warriors are spent and clinches to get a breather or 2 warriors gets tangled up. That's fine.
It becomes pathetic boxing is when a fighter prevents an opponent from countering by hugging. That's lame boxing.
But you wont get that, Queensberry rules shouldnt be followed in Vegas especially when floyd is the one in the ring.
Well enjoy the polls. ;)

Naah, there is such a thing as Queens-berry rules, if you follow boxing that is. No fantasy there
#rules is what makes a sport, a sport.

Haha you are truly unstopable!
Haha facts in your own fantasy world. Sounds like a spectacular place, where the most fanfriendly guy always takes the win.

You're super deluded and super deluded with hate towards Floyd. There's not much point in me and you arguing further.

if you've ever been in a street fight in your life, oh noez god forbid, you wouldn't be crying about clinching.
oh we are in a street fight now?
do you know the difference between a street fight and a boxing fight in the ring dumbo lol
Street fights there's no rules. Boxing is a sport with rules. smh..
queens-berry rules buddy boy. That's your bible right there. I suggest you learn it.
Queens-berry rules, clinching is foul better read the manual again.
but off course the foul cllinching is what I have explained. it's what the referee should be looking for ;)

Remove all that hugging from Floyd to maidana. maidana plows him down for sure. Would have been an early fight if it weren't for the lifesaving hugs Floyd did lol
Madaina I was the closest he came to losing, but he still won more rounds. Castillo I was not that hard of fight to score, Floyd clearly won 6 rounds, 2-3 were really close, and Castillo won 3 or 4. No other fights were close enough to discuss.
He's had 2 close fights his entire career while fighting more champions than any one else.
