Khan is the kind of guy who needs to feel threat and danger. Otherwise, he isn't motivated, and not on his A game.
Against Canelo, he will be on his A+ game. Khan will shock the world.
I have a hard time to believe this, Khan picked Algieri and did it so he can outdo Pacquiao, that was his motivation, he chose Algieri he wasn't just getting a fight from his promoter he picked the fight for a reason to motivate him to outdo Manny.
An "unmotivated" Pacman mopped the floor with Algieri, which Khan didn't succeed...
Before the fight he was saying just how motivated he was to do better than Manny, that was the selling point. I even recall him going bonkers at a reporter who asked if he was overlooking Algieri.
Here it is
yeah, I remembered something like this. good post dan cov

So he wasn't motivated for a fight that he was talking up as the one where he would prove himself worthy of Mayweather and outperform Pacquiao? I guess he didn't want the Mayweather fight at all, then. It would explain why he avoided any opponent that would actually get him a Mayweather fight.
Exactly. This is nonsense from Khan. It's not even original nonsense.

The usual delusional Khan. He specifically chose Algieri to make a statement that he can beat him in better fashioin than Pac. I felt the most he deserved in the fight was a draw..it backfired big time. It must be nice to live in your own fantasy world. :lol1:
Khan shouldn't be too upset with the performance he still won 8-4 against a game algeiri that said Khan under roach would have stopped him , maybe even if he committed to virgils strategy he may have gotten him out of there
Khan is known to talk nonsense.
Signed contracts to fight Mayweather and Pacquiao (which never existed), got the better of Andre Ward in sparring, previous losses have been blamed on weight and even poor training due to Freddie Roach's Parkinson's...
Add this to the list.
