Mayweather vs Castillo appreciation thread: still a hot topic after 14 years

When people actually watch the fight it kills that myth that Castillo was robbed..most people who say it never even watched the fight check out the thread its been a while but none of the usual suspects even attempted to score the fight i scored it a draw and Mayweather by 2 points....not a robbery just a bunch of sour grapes.

Well lets see he Beat Randell in the rematch ahead on the score card at the time of the cut ,knock him out in the 3rd fight, Knock out and ruined Meldrick Taylor and the Draw with Whitaker he struggled but Floyd struggled with pressure fighters Castillo and Madaina both who beat him but do to corruption they gave him the win. If you think Floyd won those fights than you have to except the Chavez vs Whitaker draw with posts like that I cant take you seriously...Maidana won 4 rounds...yipppeeee...he didnt win and if you think he won, you really need to be taught how to score a fight doing better than what people expected doesnt mean you win I dont have to accept anything. I'll make a thread for Whitaker vs Chavez soon...last time I scored it 8-4 whitaker

I had it 115/113 Castillo the second time around, real close fight, could have gone either way. No one, not even DLH or Maidana were able to cut off the ring and time Mayweather as effectively as Castillo. Love to score another fight. My suggestions would be Pac/Marquez I or II. The first fight could be a study on how to properly score a fight and the second was just a real close and competitive fight. Just posted JMM-PAC 3.....chose that one because no knock downs or point deductions...just a nice clean fight to score I agree....castillo is so underrated and him fighting on too long has diluted the memories people had of the beast who roamed 135 from 1999-2005 He should be in the hall of fame one day

anybody with a brain wouldnt miss those thudding shots...he also is countering floyds counter i really enjoyed this fight live ...why not score the fight with us and explain your card....or would you rather troll? this is just out of fun, if you arent going to score it with us and explain your card, you're not adding anything to the thread..... so touchy. ayy mija. i saw it like two weeks ago and this time with some new buddies and one was even black fwiw (a lot, they typically stick with their own, but no racism tho, i'm pr and i get it) and after the 10th or 11th round where it was a 10-8 it was like that's a wrap. i'm not trolling, though. relatively close if you have a bias coming in but clear in castillos favor as to who won that fight, that night in LV.

I had it for Castillo by a few at the time. Only ever watched the fight twice and the re-watch was a long time ago. I will have to try watch it again and come up with a scorecard. See if i get the same this time around. I used to had a thread linked in my sig, which had all my scorecards from close fights down the years. Somehow lost it though..which sucks. Your idea OP, of a regular thread of close fights, where we can re-watch and re-score sounds a good idea.
