Thats why he is unwilling to fight anyone with a pulse until he gets khan. Johnny Nelson is friends with Kell Brook known him since he was a kid trained in the same gym as him with the Ingles. So he is not exactly neutral. I'm aware of who Johnny Nelson is. Yeah, i thought the first fight was decent enough. I think a rematch goes exactly the same way though. So if there is a more meaningful (for want of a better word) fight out there involving Khan, then i'd prefer to see that. I wouldn't complain about the fight if it came about. It's a good fight, and as i Khan fan i'd like to see him get a chance to avenge his defeat. But as i said in my first post, there are other opponents i'd prefer to see him fight instead if possible.

Original poster never has a source, over the last few months he stated that Khan vs Pacquaio was signed and sealed and Khans Lawyer was flying out to Las Vegas to finalise the Loose ends with Bob Arum. He also stated that Khan Vs Brook was also virtually signed and sealed and it would be a two fight deal if Khan loses he will get an automatic re-match. But to be fair his above prediction sounds the most plausible out of all his predictions.

As was expected, Khan preventing a potential loss in the lead up to the fight with Garcia. A pathetic move by his management, sitting out an entire year and hoping to be a sharp enough to beat Danny Garcia, which for Khan is a difficult fight. Furthermore, Khan and his lawyer spoke to the WBC, and were told that if Garcia doesn't fight them by June, he faces being stripped, which will mean that Khan will then face Lamont Peterson for the Vacant Title. That's not a "pathetic move" you imbecilic hater :rofl: What if Khan fought a tuneup in March and got badly cut from a headbutt or something? Guess what would happen? Khan wouldn't be able to fight June 4. The deadline can't be moved forward a couple of months because Khan has Ramadan. Therefore, Garcia would be permitted a voluntary or be forced to rematch Peterson, in which case Garcia wouldn't have another mandatory due for a year. And even then, that time frame could be lengthened if Garcia targeted a unification with another beltholder. Khan's been staying in shape and should just take it. Win or lose the Brook fight is always there if he wants it and if Khan defeats Garcia, he probably can get 80/20 because Brook would no longer be able to say, "well I have a belt" because Khan would too. Plus Khan would be getting 80% of a much bigger pot of gold because the fight would be a bigger deal as a unification. What the first 3 rounds of Khan-Garcia I showed us is that if Khan doesn't fight like a moron, he should be able to notch the W. And if he gets caught late at some point, he has a better set of tools in his toolbox to get through rough seas thanks to Virgil. Talking about Khan, i read this article by Johnny Nelson the other day. I am a Khan fan but i was thinking along similar lines to Nelson in regards to what he does next being an really important decision. After all the talk by Brook and Khan, their fight is like Groves Vs Froch were the loser is going to have a bitter pill to swallow. As for Garcia, i'm not sure it's a fight i want to see again. Khan's big problem is punchers..will a rematch be any different. I'm not writing Khan out of a fight, i never would really, but i'd prefer to see a what may turn out to be a more competitive fight. .................................... There's only 4 months until June. Usually a world title fight is announced 3 months in advance, giving enough time for build up and training camp etc. The timing is too awkward to fit in another opponent now. He should have ideally fought in Jan but it's too late for a tune-up fight now so he'll have to make do with hard sparring.

Yeah and what's your problem? If he had a tough fight in March and then wants a quick turn around for a world title fight in June then it wont benefit him at all. He needs to be 100% for DSG

Nobody would be surprise by that, in fact I think most of us expect it, either that or if he does take a fight before Garcia it will be vs the softest puncher he can fine so that he won't get knocked out yet again

I would be very happy with any fight between Garcia, Khan, and Peterson. TBH, though, I'd rather see Garcia/Peterson 2 or Peterson/Khan 2 than Garcia/Khan 2.
