I've watched the fight 3 times now, score it the same every single time. It's very easy to score and Garcia wins it every time, 8-4.
Peterson's game plan wasn't effective after Danny made his adjustments. That fight had a CLEAR CUT winner.
Now if you want to make a case for the Herrera fight, do you thing. But Garcia did NOT lose to Peterson. Let me make that clear.
Your not getting much support on here and you have to admit Danny was wank he barely had a clean round all fight
A pack of people have said Garcia won in this thread. I thought Garcia won, but it was close, and it was not a dominating performance at all. But he won. Personally I think Garcia has not lost a fight yet, but he struggles so much, but he does win IMO.
Herrera fight, yes...Peterson, not so much...

Maidana never fought Peterson. But it's easy to name 1. I said 10.
Whoops, totally was thinking of Devon Alexander...ignore all my posts in this thread (if you haven't been already) because I was referencing Devon Alexander...they both do have weird shaped heads though.
Maidana-Peterson...two top ten 140 lbers....though I'm sure if we actually looked back there were pactroll "Mexicans" claiming Maidana won.

Your clearly in the minority buddy pretty much everyone accepts that Peterson was the better man and could easily have been given the win

Everyone knows that every fight that ends in decision actually has the wrong winner. Decision wins are controversial due to the fact that it was a decision in the first place and not a TKO. Even some TKO's are controversial because they didn't end in the fighter being knocked out cold.
Can you name 10 top 10 wins in the last 5 years that ended in decision and it wasn't controversial or some fans were trying to make a case for the loser? Top 10 = Two top 10 fighters. Off the dome, go ahead.

This is actually a thing? Is it because Khan lost to Peterson in debatable fashion? Somehow saying Peterson beat Garcia makes Khan's chin more durable? Third world mentality on full display tbh.

Adjustment lol his adjustment was hitting air the first 6 to getting best the **** up the next 6. He could concievably be given the draw or even the win though as he could be gifted a few of the early rounds were he looked terrible and barely landed but he was the aggressor in basically 10 10 rounds. Peterson was defienetly the better man on the night though and probably should have been given the win

Lmfaooooooooo
I think by adjustments you meant that Peterson re-adjusted Danny Garcia's face.
Who cares if Peterson won or lost ON PAPER. He treated Garcia like a rag doll from round 7 on. That's all I remember. Peterson came out of the fight unscathed, his stock was not harmed, one bit. The paper loss was ineffective.
Contrary to the idea that Peterson gave away the first 8 rounds, he actually did well in the 7th and 8th. Where he f*cked up was in giving away the 9th. If he doesn't give that round away, he probably wins the fight.
There were a lot of early rounds that could go either way because neither guy was taking them clearly. It was very much an either way fight. However, it couldn't have been more obvious that Peterson was the better fighter that night. He controlled the pace of the fight every second of every round and did what he wanted. That loss was purely his strategic f*ck up in starting so late.
LOL at people saying Garcia adjusted. Garcia didn't adjust to a damn thing, not once in that fight. He had no answers and never had a single moment where he was in control.
Danny didn't adjust to nothing. And Peterson is the guy who was doing all the ass kicking but he did it all in only 3-4 rds.
He was using his feet and Danny was doing nothing about it. You can't give somebody rounds for punching air, but you can for good ring generalship and defence - and for the first half of the fight that's all you can really score it based on, because there was no clean hard punching or effective aggression.
So u favor the guy running away over the guy going forward just because he made him a lot but didn't land **** of his own??? Well, ok bro.....

He was running. That was running bro. He wasn't trying to engage or counter. He gave away the first 8 rds and then whipped his ass the last 4rds. Can't win like that if u ask me.
