I say it all the time, the guy is huge and I never met him. I mean he is 188-189lbs on fight night. He outweighed both Pascal and Hopkins who are decent sized LHW's. That's a 14lb gain on the day of the fight. 14 pounds for a LH is no big deal its about right , some LWs rehydrate more .

I met Floyd once and he asked me to make him some sushi and threatened to cook me with my dog then punched his girlfriend in the face. He's a tiny black guy though so I just found it cute and asked to take a picture with him. If Kovalev said something racist to me I'd be offended as ****! I'd probably cry. I don't understand why some people can't just look at a fighter,look at his personality,and his fighting style and decide if they like them based off that. Like look at old George Foreman. Nah, if anything, Roy Jones was there and Sergey seemed very happy and excited to meet Roy. And my thing is this: John David Jackson trains him and JDJ doesnt play around like that from what I know. All I can say is he was getting ready to fight Jean and I was weighing around 190 at the time we took the pic and he makes me looks like a 154 pounder in it.

I actually met him a week after his last fight, i had the opposite reaction i was surpriced how small he looked. Im by no means a big guy and he seemd smaller than i imagined.Maybe because he has just fought. Met him as he was leaving an eye dr place in burbank, i was surpriced he was rude to me, he had those plastic glasses they give u when they dialate your eyes. I asked for a pic when recognized him he was with his wife and krew he said no! No picture! I didnt take it personal he was maybe irritated from the eye drops , not to mention it was about 100 degrees that day.

Yup. Seen Kovalev twice. He was at Bradley/Vargas ringside and I saw him again leaving the Mandalay Bay at Cotto/Canelo. He was always to himself and on his phone so I didn't really get a chance to see how he acts. Maybe It's just because I'm American and the majority of people are overweight but he's really not that big at all. I was surprised at how normal sized Kovalev is in person. I've seen Gabriel Rosado a few times too. He's a cool cat. Always flexing with the shades and chains and always walks around with a dime piece but he seems cool.
