I've got Loma, too big just as skilled as rigo and i feel hes a more complete fighter, than rigo. Rigo slightly one dimensional imo whilst loma can do more
You didn't say what weight they will fight at. Rigo makes 122 very easily while Loma can't make 122. If they fight at 126 Loma has the advantage of being the slightly bigger boxer. Four pounds is not much weight but with boxers this good and evenly matched it could matter. Loma can't make 122 so the fight can only happen at 126 and Rigo won't leave 122 so this fight will probably never happen. If they did fight at 126 I pick Rigo to win a close decision.
Lomo too big and Rigo getting too old and too inactive. Even in his prime Rigo had problems with bigger guys at 122lbs and 118lbs.
People think Rigo can do to Lomo what he did to Donaire are just retarded. Donaire was a head hunter who relied on his athletic ability, Lomo would have stopped that Donaire.
I think ultimately Lomo can move up to 135lbs where Rigo is maxed out at 122lbs.
Lomachenko wins this fight. He's bigger, throws more combinations and he's good at turning his opponents he's also one of the smartest and strongest at featherweight and the only fighter around 122 or 126 that can beat Rigondeaux
If they do fight eventually who would u pick?
Rigondeaux didn't look too good in his last fight. He is also three inches shorter, and would be much smaller weight wise in the ring. However, Rigondeaux is the harder puncher, and hits hard enough to do his work one shot at a time. Lomachenko has top notch boxing, but doesn't seem to have much power. It would depend on which Rigondeaux shows up. The Rigondeaux from the Donaire fight should be able to outbox the bigger guy. He is that good when he is on point. The Rigondeaux from the last fight, who didn't have his timing down, offensively or defensively, would lose to Lomachenko.
The fans of the sweet science will win, because it might be the most skilled matchup ever to take place in boxing history. It would definitely be a remarkable display of the nuanced application of the sweet science.
