Do PED's only effect popular fighters legacies?

It would be bigger for Mayweather than anyone else because of his crusade against drugs, which is the same reason it was such a huge deal with Lance Armstrong. You can't get busted after such a holier than thou stance and not get torn to bits for it. Really, though, PEDs are not something that make Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao or Roy Jones or anyone else some of the greatest fighters of all time, and that's why it doesn't overly affect their legacies. It affects personal opinion among fans, but not whether they were ATGs.

You have to be really good to have a legacy. So yes. Run of the mill athletes don't have legacies, so PED use doesn't effect them.

Few truly care, they just use PED use as ammunition against fighters they want to bash. Same with racism, criminal activity, etc. "Fans" justify or ignore the behavior of the guys they look up to. That's why I have such a hard time calling myself a fan of anyone. I don't have the blind devotion to boxers that most here do.

Some fighters get a pass for things others don't it comes down to popularity Luis Ortiz gets away with being a drugs cheat fraud Adonis stevenson gets away with being a peadophile etc etc There's no doubt by looking at recent pics that the girl in your avatar uses steroids. So add her to the "cheat fraud" list.

I think this applies to the whole sport of Boxing and it might be because Boxing isn't as popular as NFL, MLB, NBA. It just doesn't get as much coverage because Boxing doesn't get as much coverage.

If Floyd or Pac ever got caught or were in a situation like Roy,Toney,Or EM they would always be known as drug cheats. But i see Roy,Toney and EM still get mentioned as great fighters and get ranked all-time. Similar to other sports for example when ppl mention Pats cheating, other NFL teams did much worse then they did and some blaming Pats have PED users on there team, but they don't seem to be effected as a Tom Brady. Lance Armstorng another example his whole Legacy is gone but no one mention the other cyclist that he competed against also took PEDS, it was like the MLB for them at that time, almost everyone did it.
