I am not even going to get into 147ers because that is pure non sense. My point is, why is the public ok with Gennady not going up in weight to challenge himself further? i mean it's pretty fckin clear that he is going to knock out everyone from junior middleweight to middleweight, i don't care how much "skills" you have, once GGG touches up your chin, it's over. Canelo is getting knocked out too. (if that fight happens, wich i dont think it will in the near future).
I'm cool with Golovkin and all but at this point i just want him to move to 168 to see how he does there. 154-160 doesn't have any threats for him. Move up already and more kudos to you if you stay knocking out mofos out in higher weight divisions!
sorry, just needed a place to vent :boxing:
All three judges scored the fight for golovkin. Winning every round too. Stop lying to yourself.
I never argued that Rosado won the fight; I've simply stated that, once he got over the "mystique of Golovkin", he got back to fighting how he'd been taught to fight and was giving Golovkin that work.
Golovkin is a **** fighter when forced to fight off of the backfoot, Golovkin doesn't fight when on the inside, and, when you don't simply just stand in front of him, it takes Golovkin extra time to figure out what the **** to do.
If Rosado's skin doesn't fail him, he rallies hard over the back half of the fight and likely drowns Golovkin (if he's as faulty as I think he is; if he actually shows some grit, Golovkin likely hangs on down the stretch, in a rugged fight, and walks away with the decision).
people need to learn how to watch fights, especially if it's coming after the fact.
I am not saying that Golovkin should come down to 154, my point is that any existing fighter from 154 to 160 gets knocked tha fck out by GGG. My wish is to see GGG move up to 168 already to see if he can have the same power, if so more props to the kid!
I aint no fan boy i just call it how i see it.
I agree he is the best middleweight in the world and sure as hell no 154 or 147 pound boxer has any chance of beating him but something tells me you will get debated on this.
wait, ggg can fight at 154 and 147 now???
People defending the idea that GGG needs to unify "all the belts" is pointless since boxing history will always write that he was the most "feared 160 fighter" or "nobody wanted to fight him," and "GGG opposition wasn't even that great" (from said real boxing industry heads and fighters). Therefore, the only logical sense is to find challenges at different weight classes just like every other great p4p protocol fighter. Why is this so freaking hard to understand, especially when GGGs camp is complaining about it. I think the reality is that GGG knows he feels old on that flat foot business, so he's just coasting the hype already seasoned for him. You cant call the best top 3 fighters of a higher division at a standard weight then tell the number 1 guy to fight a catchweight. Wtf!
Please cut out this naive crap!
None of the greats moved up to "find challenges", ffs. They moved up because they couldn't make weight where they were any longer, or because they could make more money moving up than staying put.
Neither of those factors apply with Golovkin.
Golovkin is an amazing human. Such a shame he settled on the business of concussions.
Snap out of it!
If he's Goku that would make him a SSGSS, not a human. I kid, Merry Christmas.
He shouldn't have to fight at 154. He should Be able to fight some smaller fighters give them the chance to dethrone him. Floyd fought jmm and PAC so Lt GGG beat up on some smaller chaps
Golovkin-Rosado, in my mind, changed that logic. Once Rosado knew that he could handle Golovkin's power, he sat and fought, to the point that he left welts all over Golovkin's face (Rosado's skin failed him, but that's kind of been his cross to bear). If you don't fold easily, Golovkin is in trouble.
at 154, Erislandy Lara gives Golovkin utter fits (Lara getting knocked down twice by Angulo, getting up, and still punching his way to a stoppage victory showed me that he was tough enough) and Demetrius Andrade ****ing embarrasses Golovkin.

It's always funny to hear a fighter beats everyone below their 1st weight class. :lol1: What does that even mean?
He easily beats every welter weight. Goku golovkin
