Khan's lawyer Robert Davis will fly out to Nevada on Sunday, in order to iron out a deal between Pacquiao & Khan. A Pacquiao v Khan announcement could come out towards the end of next week.
I am told that Team Khan verbally agreed to a purse of $4 Million Dollars over the phone, and the only thing to really negotiate now is how the UK PPV money will be distributed.
Bradley was initially the chosen opponent, but that was called off due to a lack of public demand, and ridicule from boxing writers across the globe. Crawford's name was only added to what now could be termed as the 'Pacquiao Sweepstakes', in a bid to raise the stock of the Omahan who is expected to fight Lucas Matthyse in hometown early next year.
Thoughts?
Good!!!!!! I saw on ESPN today that he was postponing the decision.
For the love of GOD NOBODY wants to see Pac vs Bradley again, he already beat his A*S twice.
I'm cool with the Khan fight, and I LOVE the Crawford vs Matthyse fight!!!!
You had better be right about all this inside information. I don't like reading a bunch of bullsh*t. If Pacquiao doesn't fight Khan and Crawford doesn't fight Matthysse then you are a liar and full of sh*t and will suffer the consequences.
Without a source this thread is about as credible as the other Khan thread made today, which put him on par with Hopkins.
Screw Khan and Crawford neither has really earned the fight. Looks like Cotto and Bradley could be good in June in NYC. Canelo and Pac both need dance partners. Cinco De Mayo lets do it at 155.
How many times, not all contracts are the same.
What happens if Crawford loses Pacquiao?
I don't think it would be bad at all, just like Canelo losing to Floyd.
Crawford has the home base of Omaha so he can always get good fights. The experience he'd gain from a Manny fight both in the ring and during the promotion, would do nothing but help his career.
But Floyd & Khan are signed to Haymon, both fighters you claim are possibly fighting Manny next. You're also saying HBO won't approve of him fighting Crawford, a young fighter on HBO who they're trying to push as the next big thing. He's also in many people's top 10 P4P, Khan isn't. And don't tell me it's because Khan is a bigger draw because Crawford sells out more than Khan. You're not making any sense.

All of Haymon's fighters are 'advised' by him...
Whenever Khan does interviews he mentions Haymon as his 'manager'. He's with Haymon.

Read, Absorb, Read, Repeat!
Bradley & Crawford aren't signed to Haymon, Khan is and so is Floyd. So you really aren't making much sense. Bradley & Crawford both fight on HBO so why wouldn't HBO approve? Especially a fight with Crawford who is a young upcoming fighter that would gain a lot of exposure for HBO
Not everyone signed to Haymon is under the so called slave contract. Khan, Frampton, Degale have complete rights over who they can and cannot fight. Whereas as the likes of Broner, Garcia, Peterson, Quillin etc, their fights and sponsorship deals are under Haymon control.
Khan is merely advised by Haymon, who gets a cut from Khan's purse. Haymon cannot block Khan from fighting any fighter from any promotional company. Degale and Frampton have similiar contracts with Haymon too.

Khan is with Haymon...
Anyway good news if true, nobody wants to see Manny fight Bradley again

Uh oh, Floyd Manny 2 incoming
September 2016 - I will bump this thread, once Pacquiao wins a controversial decision over Khan in April, and calls out Floyd Mayweather. You will then see MayPac 2, in the works. Expect Pacquiao to get a smaller split of the overall purse this time, with Bob Arum out of the picture and HBO as the sole PPV outlet.
It was Khan & Crawford. Manny is in a situation where he doesn't have a foe to tango with, that satisfies his purse requirements, and satisfies both HBO and the Filipino TV Networks.
Manny cannot fight any fighter signed to Al Haymon, which leaves him with Khan.
