if one is fearless, could one do well in boxing?

I don't agree that a man with nothing to lose is any more dangerous. The man with everything to lose will probably try very hard not to lose. Besides every fighter has something to lose and that is the fight and they could be knocked out or injured.

Being fearless alone is useless unless you can fight. Even then fearlessness can get you beat if you are too bold and careless. Some fear can keep a fighter sharp and give him extra energy. Too much fear can be bad but so can foolish fearlessness.

I noticed Nasim Hamed was a fearless boxer and most of his opponents seemed as if they were scared. So in other words, if you have fear, you could NOT do well in boxing. I think anyone who is fearless could go out there and become a boxing star. I think Mike Tyson's mom's death made him fearless that he was able to dominate. The same way that I think Adolf Hitler was fearless due to a head injury plus the death of all his family. As if he felt he had nothing to lose. And the saying that a man with nothing to lose is a very dangerous man. Agree? :boxing: You also need skills, chin and stamina

Fearlessness, invincibility, etc go out the window when you get chin checked. Eventually you are gonna meet a guy that is impossible to dissuade or impress, a Barrera. Jamed lost, then never returned once his hype psych job was exposed. Post fight he said he would be back. We are still waiting. He got humiliated in the ring. What an axx he looks like right???

Boxing is a SCIENCE and an ART Of course you need to be confident, but being fearless alone doesn't take you anywhere.

I reckon there are millions of fearless men who would make crap boxers. Since the other guy can punch them in the head and short circuit them. A delicate balance of skill and will. It is why we watch it!
