of course not lol. but third world or not beating 60 individuals before turning pro isnt too bad. i would think they were all about the same level of training. i had just always figured he never had much of an am career. like he just walked into a gym, picked up a pair of gloves and went pro.
i have a feeling they were just am tough man contests.
most countries ams don't develop good am fighters.
look at mexico. great pros but little am success.
i was looking at the same thing. like he's always been what we know him to be........a pretty good fighter (100+ wins) but may forever be a notch below elite (23 L's)
Tbf he competed at a much higher level than some of these like Pac, Canelo, Jmm..

he turned pro at 16.
in a poor third world country.
he didn't move to a big city til 14-15.
what kind of am career you think he had?
not exactly golden gloves, olympic level training.

strange thing is i used to see all kinds of "pacquiao never had an am career, he was just skin and bones when he became pro out the gate" seems he did his thing early.
oh and kid chocolate REALLLY doesnt know the meaning of a loss.
