Just thinking about potential match ups that draw some interest. Aside from Canelo/GGG that I don't think happens anytime soon, I'm not seeing a lot of interesting things at least that would generate PPV interest.

Wilder/Fury v Wilder probably draws in 2016, especially if Wilder beats Povetkin.
I think Frampton v Donaire is a big money fight and Loma v Walters might do well too but I agree, no mega buys.
Obviously the heavyweight encounter I mentioned is the biggest draw and could be the biggest european PPV of all time.
Haye v Fury would be huge too if all the titles were on the line.
So seems like the heavyweights are becoming big business again with the lower divisions suffering from a lack of confirmed stars.
Having said that, I do believe Cotto v Khan does numbers but Cotto's drawing power must have taken a hit now and I can't imagine this fight being feasible.
Khan v Pacquiao is bigger.
of course it will draw but im not sure it makes sense. cotto would be huge compared to khan but there is no doubt its a fight that will draw attention.
I think the fight that should be made is bradley khan. if khan is able fight manny why not bradley
As if Floyd's 8 million twitter followers purchased 8 million ppv's, right? and 8 million of them packed up the MGM Grand, right?
Well 1 ppv buy will include a few friends and families. I bought the Cotto fight and I had 9 people watching the fight.
I like it. Although I would rather see Khan vs Bradley or Cotto vs Bradley myself. But I think all of these choices would be very exciting match ups. I doubt that any of them will happen though
Everyone will have to be issued safety glasses just like on a 3D movie.
Cotto will make that Glass of Khan violently explode spreading shrapnel all over the ring.
Everyone at ring side will be in danger!
Two big names would likely sell. This would be an entertaining fight and promotional tour. I'm sure Khan would have a lot to say going against Freddie.

But Floyd is the biggest draw in the sport.
What does that have to do with Khan who is nowhere near that?
Khan draws against anyone and with Cotto it'd be a massive fight, but the weight difference will prevent the fight from happening because Khan's not about to go up to fight someone at 154 when they aren't a titleholder. More likely to see Khan go up for Canelo.
He did 1.5 million on a Friday against Algieri so that's pretty much case closed, Khan vs Cotto would be huge but the weight difference and lack of title means it isn't a plausible match up.
For what?
Cotto has no reason to even acknowledge this guy.
How about Khan actually tries to win some belts at 147? Can he do that please? How about actually going up against a legit WW and not a bloated LWW?
Is that too much to ask?
It's a shame they don't actually "follow" him in real life.

Cotto-Khan would be very big... Khan has a lot of appeal. Just look at his social media following. In all of Boxing, he has the 3rd highest number of social media following (Floyd and Manny being first and second, respectively.)

That's a good path. I think Kahn getting a Cotto fight does more for him, more risk but more $$ up front.
I think Khan would take a Cotto fight over that as well, but I don't think it'll be offered and I don't see how the economics of the fight would make any sense.
