Funny u say this cause their were alot of times when canelo landed most of the punches clearly but in the replays they would show cottos 1 or 2 punches that he landed lol
Did Jim Lampley cry again when Cotto lost?
Actually, I thought Lampley's voice was quivering a bit after the decision. Haha
But it almost sounded like he was gonna cry some tears of joy for Canelo.
Jim seems to border on a breakdown after nearly every big fight. He may have pugilistic dementia.
Before the fight was decided, while watching the last round I had the fight either a draw or a slight edge over Canelo. I called it I said if the fight goes to the cards they will score it wide in Canleos favor.
HBO was horrible man, Lampley and Jones Jr were counting some three punch combos that hit nothing but AIR thrown by Canelo, I started laughing hard, I was like wtf? And Kellerman had to Correct Jones Jr when he said I think that shot was blocked by Cotto Roy.
Roy and Lampley were doing the same **** when Floyd and Manny fought, they were so far up Floyds ass it was weird. Its like HBO told Lamps and Roy to go from praising Pacquiao to dissing him, to try and kiss Floyds ass and lure him back to HBO after his contract expired.
Kellerman seems to be the only level headed one.
Kellerman is the only one who really tries to be fair, but Kellerman has a bias toward slicksters.
honestly it's worse in the uk
they were ballriding cotto the first 4 rounds then after the 5th had canelo ahead
i was like was that a 10-5 round then?
Hahaha, I think I was watching the same channel as you.
Walk in the park for Canelo. Cotto did his best, but he was in there against the younger, bigger lion. Everyone gets old. Miguel doesn't belong at middleweight with the big boys. He beat an old Sergio with bad knees. Canelo looked like he didn't really want to hurt the older warrior. The scorecards were bullshit, but if you think Cotto should've won...pass the spliff, homie!
I had the great previledge to enjoy both Boxnation, HBO in HD and it was funny cause both were complete opposite, Boxnation was riding Cotto hard in the early rounds but when it was clear canelo has imposed himself on cotto beyond return for cotto then calmed down.
All in all color commentary is just that, colorful. Take it for what it is.
All the reason boxing fans and true knowledgeable boxing aficionados knows the right man won clearly and by a 9-4, 8-3 type of margin too.
Say word!

Hmmmm, something doesn't add up here.....

Is this another Cotto won thread? At least be up front and say that.
If you don't even got the balls to come out and say that, and take the flak how can people believe you truly believe it.
It was a disgrace to be honest. I had to mute that ****. Is like cotto would land combinations and they would be talking nonsense then canelo swong at air and they would praise it like he was breaking cotto apart and the mofo was not even landing ****
This fight needs to be investigated immediately. It's clear that certain people made sure Cotto had no chance to win tonight. Any true boxing fan should want to have this looked into. It's not about who your favorite fighter is, it's about fairness.
Boxing being boxing. Meh.....it's the nature of the beast.
