If GGG is so great how come he has only defeated 1 world champion?

^Yeah.....Lets forget the fact that dudes clearly ducked this dude.....and nobody gonna give him credit anyways....Months before Lemx. fight he was considered a good win, as soon as he won....Lmax. was a bum.... It will be the same if beats Lee, Quillen. Thats why people want this dude to just forget about his own division and move up to fight Ward....so he can lose and people can say "told u so".... If he went up to 168 and beat Ward they would still come out with "Ward can't make 168 anymore anyway" You can never win in the eyes of some people. No matter what Manny or Floyd achieved in the ring, there was always people trying to pull their achievements apart instead of looking at it objectively and just appreciate it for what it is, and now they will move on to the likes of Golovkin and do the same. That's why i try not to have too much favouritism in boxing, it makes you blind to appreciating skills of fighters who aren't your favourites. Imagine being a boxing fan in this era and missing out on appreciating how skilled Mayweather was in the ring, or how exciting Pacquiao was or Golovkin now, just because of petty hate. I wouldn't rob myself of that.

Well, to be fair to GGG, the WBC belt will be given to him too because the champion won't want to fight him. That's not his fault. Or if he did beat Canelo/Cotto, they'll say he was too big for them. Then if he knocks out someone like Andy Lee for another belt, people would say Lee isn't good anyway and was stopped by Chavez Jr. The fact is, he's not going to be able to win some people over no matter what he does. They will always discredit it. You should understand that, being a Floyd fan. I think he would beat all the other middleweight champs if he could fight them. He tried to get a fight with Martinez and then Cotto to no avail. He will fight any of them. The Lee-Saunders winner, Jacobs-Quillen winner or the Cotto-Canelo winner. He would probably be the betting favorite to beat any of them. He is trying to fight the other champs but they have to agree to fight him and sign the contract first.

GGG fights anyone, your idol here ran from the toughest opposition or just fought them when he had every advantage he could or they were too old and had weight disadvantages. Your idol is a womenbeater who went to jail for domestic violence, he is just an egocentric simplistic mind, who cant even speak a second language. When it comes to fighting, he couldnt even finish his opponents, he usually ran around the ring and won boring decisions, protected by his pocketrefs. Here you have GGG, a real fighter, someone to really look up to, someone who is humble and takes on any challenge, he offered to fight Froch in Nottingham, offered to fight Ward and neither of them took the challenge. Most of the so called top fighters in the sport suddenly start stuttering when being asked about GGG, he made the guys who fight for the lineal MW belt deny that they are middleweights at all costs and run scared from GGG. Alot of great fighters beat alot of B Type opponents, but GGG destroys them. Thats the difference. If you dont realize that, you really DKSAB. Which fighters would give GGG a tough fight? Hopefully the Cotto/Canelo winner unifies with him given that he is the mandatory and it's right there on the table to be made no excuses since they are all HBO fighters. If they don't than you can't blame GGG for not trying to win the belt in a fight. As far as the WBO hopefully Lee defeats Saunders and he faces the winner's so they can unify all three of the belts. I think Lee would be willing to face GGG given that he was scheduled to face him prior to his dad passing away. Unification has been delayed given that the promoter's weren't willing to take any risk with their MW champions for the past few years. That WBC belt and lineage has been held hostage since Martinez ko'd Williams back in 2010. DiBella did not want to lose that bargaining chip he had and Cotto so far wants to get the maximum he can out of it. It finally has a chance to be properly legitimized once again next year should the three champions fight each other to determine a true without a doubt #1 MW since no known barriers exist between Lee, Golovkin, Cotto or Canelo other than a possible reluctance to face one another. As far as Quillin and Jacobs I think the PBC format and HBO exclusive deals kills any fights between them and GGG & Canelo.

Depending on how things go for the next 3 or 4 years, he may end up being one of the greatest MW's of all time. Ya know, The class he has fought in his whole career? There is nothing wrong with dominating your weight class. We just have to see how things go. One of the posters talked about no matter what he does, some people will always try and find a way to discredit him and it's true. I think it's the opposite. No matter what he does, people overrate it. Any fighter he fights is a great win and another step to the HOF list. It started with Proksa. People want him to be great so badly that they will lower their standard for what good wins are, only for GGG. For other fighters, even if they beat actual good fighters, they don't get the same love GGG gets.
