The sad part is the former world boxing champion actually says anything at all about a girls fight in the mma! He isn't talking about her and her defeat he's talking about how he feels about it!
Mayweather will be introuble internally because he is not about Floyd he';s about how people react to him. Thats not a good future for him if he can't make the transition into society without "needing" the publics eyes on him.
I hope he can get behind some childrens causes by assisting financially or
partnering with a group thats proven to be valid and trusted.
Hoping for the best from him, for children and him!
Ray
Its a life, sad maybe, but you will never know.
Do you really believe Floyd is sincere in this?
Serious question, I'm not even a Floyd hater - I just can spot PR bullsh1t from miles away.
Can't you?
Trust me, no matter what he said, you wouldn't think he's sincere. Damned if he does, damned if he don't. If it was me (or most people), I would have trashed her. It would have been easy to and she would have it coming. Whether Floyd was sincere or not, he could have straight trashed her easily, and would get no complaint from me (and judging from what I've read, from a lot of people as well). So you can't look at it any other way than positive.
And I actually do believe Floyd is sincere. Mainly because he can relate to her. He never attacked her before her loss unless you call "get your money up" an attack. And he only acts like prick when he's promoting a fight or if someone comes at him first. He's always shown respect after the fight. That's more than I can say for Ronda. If you want to look for the real villain here, its Ronda.
One thing I learned is internet boxing is a sad pathetic place, real life boxing in the gym among friends doesn't even resemble what goes on in these forums.
I guess you in time you learn who to take serious in these forums and who not.
Very classy...he took the high road like I expected him to...how grown men do...kill em with kindness like my Dad always said...still doesn't take away from this classy move by mayweather...it hurt to see that happen to Ronda...I hope she bounces back and yes she can still get it...
lol'd :lol1:
I must admit that I was more than a little surprised by the level of moral character Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Displayed in his comments regarding Ronda Rousey's loss.
It takes a lot of courage and fortitude for not wanting to kick your enemy while they are down; Especially a woman, after being made fully aware of all the awful things she has said about him through the press and social media.
So Kudos to you Floyd for at least on this one occasion for showing us all what a real man truly does when faced with adversity.
Everyone knew he would take the high road -- only an idiot wouldn't, PR or not. An only an sandy vagina would be all "GTFOH, doe, someone wrote it" in response. Take a day off.
Everyday is a holiday brother.
Every damn day.
Peace.

It is downright sad how so called boxing fans picked a fvcking female who build a career on beating nobodies over the best our sport had to offer...and even sadder Oscar is just as pathetic as some on these forums and put her on the cover of our magazine....Boxing has some of the worst fans i have ever seen
Including guys like you who root for a guy who beats up women in front of their kids.

I think I can respect this enough not to bring up the fact that he trashed Pacquiao after JMM IV.
Anyone who believes Floyd a) Wrote this or b) is sincere is more stupid than I thought.
Floyd being humble doe, GTFO.
I always thought Floyd's crap talking was fake. The De La Hoya fight showed me he really doesn't mean half the stuff he says. I remember him saying he was going to "beat the ****" out of Oscar but instead he fought a calculated and measured fight against Oscar. That told me he just says stuff to promote fights which is something fighters have been doing for YEARS!
I even think Rousey was sometimes being a phoney with her trash talk. But there were certainly times where Rousey genuinely did not like the person she was trashing.
All in all I think Floyd was genuine in his thoughts because he knows how vicious fight fans really are and he knows if he were to go down the way Rousey went the same would be happening to him, probably even worse.
Didn't 50 Cent say Floyd told him to post this on instagram:
