All three of these men are ranked in the top 5 pound-for-pound by Ring Magazine and are very highly thought of but who has faced the weakest competition in their whole careers?
Notice I have used their entire careers to give a fairer reflection unlike some other polls which are going around where the feminine thread starters have used a select period of time and blocked people from the thread to slant opinion in their favour.
I was under the impression that to be a top P4P fighter, you have to have proved yourself at least once against top level opposition. From what I can tell, only 2 of the 3 fighters listed have done that.
What's your opinion?
... facepalm. I clearly state that I'm trolling him back for creating this troll thread. I'm not sure how much more intentional one can get.
Considering Ward fanboys like you 2 can't even read & comprehend the post on forums, it explains much - reading (and god forbid, comprehending) a full article is way harder.
Sure buddy. Sure.
So ward can fight bums indefinitely and remain at the top of the list. Awesome.
I don't believe I said that. GGG has been fighting bums indefinitely his whole career and most people have him near the top of the list.
I can excuse fighters facing a bum or two here and there. Ward definitely needs to step it up his next fight.
I was under the impression that P4P was based on your skill level and your ability to produce that skill level against top level competition.
Again, I only see 2 of the 3 poll options having ever achieved this.

Don't do this man. Just take the L.
:lol1::lol1::lol1: This might be the funniest unintentional post I've ever seen. This fanboy reached out to the freaking amateurs.

Since this is obviously a pathetic attempt to troll GGG fans, who never denied the strength of Ward's resume, let's see if I can repay the favor.
Best names on Ward's Resume are:
Kessler (#1 SMW)
Abraham (#8 SMW)
Froch (#3 SMW)
Dawson (#1 LHW).. drained 7 lbs, bleh.
Golovkin has:
Andy Lee
Andre Dirrell
Lucian Bute
Macklin (#6 MW)
Lemieux (#4 MW)
Murray (#9 MW)
Geale (#2 MW)
And I'm sure you're gonna say that those rankings don't mean crap (even though they're all from Ring mag), but do keep in mind, for comparison purposes, that Abraham (#8 on Ward's resume) is currently being challenged by Murray (#9 on GGG's resume)
:-)
TROLL ON!

I voted the obvious choice.
but let me state some facts.
You came here posted hand picked fighters from P4P list(matched your criteria)
and throw the question about "softest competition overall". Thats a slanted poll.
you should propose all the P4P fighters from that list(that you choose to use)
and then ask the question. Is an open question, other than that you are trying to force an opinion.
And let me be clear about this, I'm a GGG "supporter" but i think I'm not bias towards him. I like to have an objective opinion, with that said, I clearly see in you ,and alot of guys here, some "hate"(call it as you want) towards GGG and his opposition.
It is not that you state some factual things, it's just some sarcastics/irony comments about him.
thats why I have the opinion that this poll may be bias, its about behaviour, and yours has been not the best.
English is not my first language, so, sorry if you may find a error in my sentences.
Greetings.
Overall Andre Ward has better opposition on his resume. Kovalev has fought the best opponents of the 3 in recent years so he should be ranked higher, Golovkin has the weakest resume.
But if we are talking for the year or two, Ward is on the bottom for 2014-2015 his competition has been the weakest of the 3 for this year and he will fight two tune ups one mismatch wasnt even sanctioned by Nevada so he had to get a new opponent and inactivity.
Entire career resume who has the weakest opposition? Golovkin
Oh. I thought that you tried to counter my argument on olympics and failed miserably, so you moved on to option 2 - pretend it didn't happen. In case you forgot, your first answer didn't say anything about it being limited to the professional careers only. You tried to argue that bc Ward won Gold he's better than Golovkin, who won Silver, failing to realize that MW was stacked with future high ranking pros while LHW was full of cabbies.
I must have been wrong though. :loser:
No Golovkin was the one who failed by only winning a silver medal to Ward's gold.
I was only making that point for argument's sake since you desperately brought up the amateurs as if it means something to this thread :lol1:
So this c unt makes a thread intended to bash on GGG?
Why not just make a thread saying you don't like GGG you Limey tw at?
As history has shown, the guy does live to troll against certain fighters on here. It's as sure as the sun coming up each day.
No it makes sense because this is a forum that 99.9% of the time discusses professional boxing and not amateur boxing.
Are these guys for real? :lol1:

Right now, you have to say GGG. The reason is b/c Ward faced the who's who of the 168 lb div and knocked out the LHW champ while nobody on GGG's resume is close to even a 50 year old enigma like Hopkins. (also, nobody ever abused Hops like Krusher did)
Ah, because that makes sense or because that helps with your troll thread?
As far as I'm aware, amateur, and especially olympic, success, is a big judge of of fighter's worth.
You can be a Ward fan AND not be an ignorant troll at the same time.
