Is it possible or will they always be sworn enemies because of the ruthless, brutal damage they inflicted on each other?

I voted NO.
- Vargas called out Tito after he beat Quartey.
- Tito responded its one thing calling out the devil and its another thing seeing him come
- Vargas was never the same fighter, he left it all in the ring that night. They should of stopped it in the 1st round, and Vargas would of been able to continue his carreer. The fight turned out to be a classic but it took way to much out of Vargas.
- Now for the ignorant people on this forum calling Tito a cheater and comapring him to Margarritto..please be aware that if the Tito/Hopkins fight would of taken place anywhere other than NYC, there would never be any mention of his wraps. He did not have anything illegal inside his wraps like Margarrito, it was just the way his hands were being wrapped, it was againts NYS athlectic commision rules. It was all tape/gauze..no plaster.
Could Cotto and Margarito ever be friends? Hell no!
Felix Triniwraps loaded his gloves. Vargas will never forgive him for that.
stop it. that spring-loaded left hook never needed any help.
Why do they have to be friends? It's not personal. It's all about being professional in the ring. I am not saying that they necessary have to be enemies either.
However, I am pretty sure if the two were to ever meet at some kind of function or gala gathering they would at least be cordial and friendly toward one another without becoming actual friends.
No. Vargas is still bitter over the lost.
Hopkins and De La Hoya seemed like they were already friends before they fought. Hopkins was nothing but respectful during the press conferences and didn't resort to mind games or trash talk (which actually was part of his plan) against De La Hoya.
I could see Tito being cool with Fernando but on the flip side I can see Vargas being a grudge holder basing his loss solely on low blows but forgetting that Trinidad could have been charged with aggrivated assault on the first round alone.
that first left hook sounded like a pipe hitting a sandbag.
Wait a minute??? Where is this coming from???
Didn't Vargas give Trinidad great respect for beating him up?
I am not up to speed on this.
Send me a link anyone!
I voted no. They live a huge distance apart for one thing. If it was just up to Trinidad I am sure they could be friends. Vargas is not a friendly guy. He held a huge grudge against Oscar for almost nothing. If he doesn't like Trinidad that is not going to change. Trinidad and Oscar are friends now.
That's what made how Oscar beat him so incredible. It's a really underrated fight. I probably still have the old KO magazine kicking around somewhere in which Vargas shamelessly professes his hatred for Oscar over virtually nothing aside from his perception of him.
There is no way Vargas will be friends with Tito. He truly believes Tito cheated with his wraps. There's a few interviews with him on YouTube discussing it.

No, because when the hand wrap incident happened with Hopkins Vargas jumpped on that opportunity and started to tell anybody who cared to listen. That that was why Tito was able to defeat him when they fought, he went on a campaign to discredit Tito's career. And still today when asked he sticks to his claims that Tito cheated against him.
I don't think so either. Bernard and Oscar also had a financial incentive to become friends, if they weren't already, and I don't recall the level of animosity between those to as I do with Vargas and Trinidad... and pretty much everyone else. I don't know who Vargas was friendly with in boxing. He seemed like he was always mad at someone. I remember when he spat on Ross Thompson after he knocked him down.
Well Ross Thompson did sucker punch him at the press conference...
