In my eyes he's the real number one he did more in one year than chocolate did his whole career. Manny never ducked anyone and if he was 100% he would have given cloud a tough competitive even fight. It's ridiculous and hypocrisy to have Chocolatito ahead of manny in the p4p
Beat another top rated P4P fighter or the best guy at 147, at the moment it's not very clear who that is, but if Jesie Vargas fought Danny Garcia and Porter fought Thurman, then Pacquiao beating the winner of any of those 2 fights would make him again P4P #1 for me. HIs win tonight was huge considering the circumstaces like his age, alleged injury, distractions outside of the ring and so on, but putting things into prespectie Manny beat a guy he already beat twice, yea he knocked him down twice but still, that was already a closed chapter as we all already knew Bradley is just not on that level.
Also waiting for Crawford to fight Postol and then fighting the winner not so far away from 140 (142-143) would qualify him to be the P4P#1 especially if Ward and Kovalev haven't fought by then.
Im not going to get in to a long drawn out convo here, because these forums get seriously dumb when Pac is the feature.
I had Pac winning the first fight by a land slide, had Pac winning the second fight by a closer margin, I had this fight scored 114-112 Bradley. I don't score a round for a fighter who only fights for 30 seconds at the end of the round. Pac looked sloppy, most of his combos were purse swinging punches. This is the worst I have ever seen Pac, and I think this should be his last fight. Pac got credit for a lot of punches that were not landing, and he was clearly given rounds based on perception rather than what was actually happening in the ring.
Well let me tell u that ur not very aware of how to score a fight if u scored it for Bradley. I knew after a easy win for Pac some dummy would come here ans score it for Bradley. U cant fix stupid

Can you tell me how did you score this fight for Bradley? ?
If he beats either Crawford/Postol winner, Brook, Thurman/Porter winner or Canelo/Khan winner.
That would certainly help. Not sure if that puts him at #1 though. Should be interesting to see where The Ring moves him after this win.

Unify 147 and KO Crawford....its too hard with guys like Sergey and Ward above him and about to fight...there is no win that could surpass a Kovalave or Ward win
GGG, Roman, Kovalev, and Fury would all have to retire this week.
Why do you have gg ahead of him? Or Roman. Manny is a level above those guys.Bradley was the number two guy and Pac smoked him out

I think p4p should be determined by what you have done in recent times, not past achievements or skill level. Like Ward, highly skilled but has fought no high level competition in about 3 years, and only 2 fights. For all we know, Ward might have missed his prime and be on the decline, there's no recent proof one way or the other.
Anyway, as far as Pacquiao goes, well part of me thinks he will never reach the top of that list again as he's getting older and not the fighter he once was. In decline basically but then you have to remember it's Pacquiao, not an ordinary fighter. I believe even if he has 85% left of what he was, he can beat any current fighter around his weightclass, apart from Floyd...and he's "retired" anyway. So who knows, 1 solid and 1 very good win and people might place him up there but really the hype has shifted.
HBO have Gonzalez and Golovkin now, Manny is the past. As long as those two keep winning, HBO and the boxing media will hold them in high regard and they will dominate the top of the p4p lists.....not that it really means anything anyway.
I disagree
I have Manny P number one again
he easily beat a top welterweight in Bradley

I have no issues with rating Pacquiao #1. Nor do I with Klitschko, or even Roman Gonzales. At this point, I think the top 3 are well established. Now it's just simply a matter of determining which one deserves it the most recently.
I honestly think Pacquiao deserves it the most, despite his decline, though.
I don't really have a problem with people rating him #1. Personally I rate Wlad #1 but he has been #2 on my list since ktfo6 anyway. Does beating Bradley (for a second time in the eyes of most) and losing to Floyd warrant the #1 spot? Meh, sure why not at this point. At least Manny has paid his dues more than a GGG or Chocolatito.
Agree 110%

Knockout Khan in 2 rounds, and then knockout Crawford both in 2016.
But let's be honest. Manny is on the decline and I really hate to say it, but he lost is aggressive killer instinct when he became a born again Christian.
