Fair point, remind me when Khan last headlined a PPV?
Certainly wasn't when he fought Algieri on Friday Night Fights...
I believe it was McCloskey. They bumped that fight off Sky PPV and Khan being the philanthropist and charitable man that he is ended his relationship with Sky and moved to Primetime to charge an inflated PPV price.
I'm pretty sure they wrap up sparring more than a week before the fight.
Anyways, it's clear to us Brook can't headline a ppv on his own. That's the most important thing.

I don't think anybody other than Khanturds would say something as ridiculous as Kell being afraid of Chaves :lol1: The same retards who thought he was scared of Alexander.
Because the Klitschko-Fury fight got postponed, the money probably couldn't hold up - So by putting this fight on December 12 and make Joshua-Whyte + Brook vs Chaves PPV together, would free up cash from Sky to give to Brook/Chaves. Or so the theory is.
As I wrote that I realized how possible it is actually.
This, no way is Brook scared of Chavez. This is a classic Eddie Hearn stunt.
I am in the minority but I think the injury is real. If he was afraid of Chavez then why would he sign the contract to fight him in the first place? The same thing holds true with his injuries before the Alexander fights. He fought and beat Porter in the USA and Porter is better than either Alexander or Chavez.

Have no reason to believe it's fake.
Even if they push it to December 12th, they are probably realizing that a PPV card in the UK need the special one to hold up.

It's not clear at all. He was fighting Diego Chaves which was never planned to be a standalone PPV.
We can only hope that when he does headline his first PPV, it doesn't flop as badly as other British fighters who made their much hyped PPV debuts.....

i hope not, its disappointing, but, so is brook not being scheduled to fight more top ww's since porter. no more 'tough, durable' opponents please. if haymon is working with Eddie hearn as he did for the porter fight, can we see Thurman, Garcia? matchroom fighters should be able to take on top rank fighters too surely? no ww unification fights this year except may-pac, really hot division haha
