Anyone seen or heard from the proprietor of this thread?
he will be MIA for a few days... I remember *******s going away after KTF6 for a while.. but the damned turds came back...
I haven't seen someone with as good angles since the heyday of Canizales and Duran. He's genuinely a beautiful fighter to watch. Really nice defense, and obviously his combination punching and rhythm is absorbing to watch. However, what gets me every time out is the angles he gets on guys. ****ing unreal. To do it at that level, so well, is just astounding.
Can't wait for the rematch between him and Estrada. Now that Marquez is gone, they are my two favourite fighters style wise by far and both will fight each other soon.
:wank:
I couldn't give a **** about his P4P ranking, but people that **** on you for liking to watch this guy are such ****ing cunts. What is to dislike? He's an offensive machine with really damn good offensive boxing skill. If you like aggressive fighting, he's as good as it gets today.
Who gives a **** what a magazine says! Just watch him fight and make your own damn mind up. Or is that too 'hipster', to make up your own mind? You're either conforming by thinking he's good, or conforming by railing against it and thinking he's overrated. Either way, why not try to make up your own mind instead of just following one way or the other.
Aw, how cute, Juan Francisco Estrada's sons fought each other, :boxing:.
you mean Juan Francisco Estrada's daddy destroyed Viloria in a more devastating fashion than a split decision .
Who do you have ahead of him? (Sorry didnt read the thread, if you already answered that)
It depends on your criteria
But me personally would have
Ward
Rigo
Wlad
Kovolev
Maybe ggg and manny
Depending on your criteria, roman is around 3-8 p4p.. I see no logical way to put him number 1.
Tim Bradley's resume over the past 5 years is better than roman's
No doubt about that, but still didn't lay claim to being #1 p4p..
The guy stopped an aging fighter who hadn't won a big fight in 3 years

Gonzalez looked great. He's a brilliant fighter.

youre crazy...Viloria prior to losing to Estrada (is almost the same Estrada beat) was on his way to being in the top 10 p4p list , when has marcos ever seen the shadow of that door?...NEVER
Yeah, but he lost to Estrada...
Ortiz was on his way to p4p stardom if he hadn't lost to Maidana
Lara and trout were on their way till they lost to canelo
Doanire could have been #1 if he had beaten rigo...
Lots of "what ifs" in boxing but you can't judge it on hypotheticals
Brian lost his chance when he threw that stupid right hand to the body when he was close as f.uck to Roman that got him countered and dropped, his only chance was diminishing Roman enough early to not get worn down as tghe fight wore on.....lost a bit of legs, and thus a bit of defense and power. Chocolatito's stamina is insane, good performance.
Lmao... Viloria that fought tonight is nowhere near the level of Maidana 2014

Dude didn't look #1 p4p tonight... More like #4 or 5
Floyd, or Ward wouldnt have lost a round and not get touched at all
Kovolev or manny legitamately ko's brian in under 10, so does marquez or wlad
Roman still is p4p, good solid win over viloria, but I still see no reason to have him #1..
To be number one you gotta be damn near flawless
FOH, I'm a fan of all three and neither Floyd nor Ward fight perfect fights every night. They both lose rounds here and there. Even with Roman losing the first two rounds he didn't look bad in them and made the adjustment after that, dropping and winning the rest of the rounds. Let's not pretend Floyd or Ward are these perfect fighters.
OP completely wrong, will try to change subject by speaking on the details of the fight rather than just the end result.......tsk tsk too bad
Doubt op was even serious in the first place roman was -2000 that's asking for a miracle with those odds Viloria had 0 chance
Floyd?...he arguably lost to the swarm of a "maidana"... I think it's safe to say brian >>>>maidana... also imagine if it was roman instead of a maidana...something to think about
Lmao... Viloria that fought tonight is nowhere near the level of Maidana 2014
