What would you consider to be a successful PPV number for GGG - Lemieux?

I think it will do well and they will likely add in the PPV Buys from Canada making it a very respectable number overall. I think 300K Goal is a bit more realistic, anything better than that it is a success! 150-300k I would say it still acceptable and something to build on. PPV's are not easy to sell especially in America, it is HARD to get the attention of Casual Americans especially when it is no American Involved so it will take time to build up guys as PPV Stars, it is not going to happen in 1 Fight. If it does decent PPV buys and the replay the following week does a good Ratings then it is a Win/Win

Whatever makes the promoters money I guess. I'm not really into PPV buys as they don't put money in my pockets, but I will say that for all the posts I see from GGG fans calling him a huge star(usually when Wards name is mentioned) then this should do real good numbers.

i think i read that they need 150k to break even? in which case i guess they're aiming for 200k-250k. more than 300k would probably be a surprising success

I do think it might be ugly. All I know is I was entertained watching Lemieux fight in his last couple and believe he will at least come out swinging. 300K would be a successful first ppv for GGG. But i have yet to see one commercial on tv about this fight I started seeing commercials yesterday, I believe on ESPN.

350K will be a success, almost no investment in publicity and gettin that number will be awesome for HBO and K2/GBP. Anything beyond that number will be a Huge success. But still if that happens we will have people here saying " but , but , PPV cost $10 bucks doe"

The best way to compare this PPV is to compare it to the first PPV of the other fighters(PAC, May, Cotto, Canelo). *don't count the fight between each other. then you will have a fair view of the number. Don't you think?
