JCC actually lost his 12th fight by DQ..but is was overturned by the commision(who his manager was a member of)
and alot of his wins were against people making their debut or with sh1t records..now out of 48 fights 26 were title fights for Floyd...out of 115 for Chavez only 37 were title fights..LEARN YOUR HISTORY
That wasn't my point. My point was the 0 is overrated without context and that it's not the absolute number Floyd makes it out to be. I was just using JCC as an example saying that if Chavez was to retire 86-0, he wouldn't be "TBE" nor was I saying Chavez is/was better than Floyd.
So an 86-6 amateur record is better than close to 50 pro fights, without a loss?

This thread is about to go full retard, I'm outta here, peace!
I thought he was trying to say a professional that has 86-6 record (and simply just used the same record as Floyd had in the amateurs). I could be misinterpreting though.
Please name me another fighter who has over half his fights as title fights and never lost
Lomachenko although he lost....
Then again, so did Floyd (Castillo.)
What's better, 48-0 but you can choose who you want to box or 86-6 (Mayweathers amateur record) where someone else chooses your opponents?
86-6 less brain damage
86-6.
0 is overrated a lot now. I mean it;s good you've never lost but if you avoided a lot of guys, so what?
FMJ says he's the best because he hasn't lost. Well someone like JCC went 86-0 before his draw with Pernell. If he retired before the Pernell fight, he wouldn't even be ranked the same rank as he is now and we know Floyd wouldn't acknowledge him as the best.

The ridiculous way amateur fights are scored makes me pay little attention to them. The pros is where it's at. Some great amateur boxers were complete failures as pros. Mayweather has a great pro record and that is vastly more important and impressive than his amateur record.
