Golovkin beats Lemieux
Canelo beats Cotto
Canelo vs. Golovkin in Spring 2016 for undisputed 160lb Championship
Winner fights Floyd in September 2016 in his real retirement fight for undisputed 160lb title and win #50.
Would be undisputed TBE if he became undisputed champ at 160. Might be possible if Cotto or Canelo come out as champ since he's beaten them already. No way he moves up to fight Golovkin tho.
beating Pac didnt do nothing for him. He looked like shlt doing it. It was a boring fight. He fought scared (like a coward) and everyone was pissed after the fight for how lame the fight was. Id say that fight hurt Floyd more than Manny. Did nothing for him except on paper. Plus made him richer!
Roach and Pacquiao were saying running will not work in this fight, that they will cut off the ring and he has no where to hide. His sheep were were believing in them and saying Floyd has no legs and that he can't move away from punches like he used to. Pac fans were using the Maidana fights to claim how Pacquiao will do even better. But fast forward after the fight, "Mayweather ran". It's pathetic but I called it, I said it would happen.
The fight did not hurt Floyd more than Manny, many people came out and called Manny a sour loser and they were shocked to see how bitter he was at losing. He looked very bad in the publics eyes. Mayweather fought the way he always fights, there was no pressure on him to go out there be like Gatti. There was pressure on Pacquiao to get the upset KO on a seemingly aging, declining Mayweather and he didn't even get a win, forget the KO. Floyd was favored to win by decision and that's what he did. Your boy didn't do his part.
"If he just stood still, I could have hit him." no sht Pacquiao, it's how you gained your fame, vs people who stood still and came right at you, smh.
That's the Floyd way. Let them beat each other up and when Floyd faces the worn out version, gets credit for beating all of them.
?? But he already beat Canelo and Cotto
Floyd beat Canelo at 152, and now we are talking about 160, yeah?
Larry, you probably don't understand what a huge difference 8lbs can make to the outcome of a boxing match.
But trust me, it would make a difference. A BIG difference.
Yep it would make Canelo a much better boxer...

Either he is TBE now or he isn't. A fighter's place in history is mainly determined by all the fights he had in his prime. One huge win at 38 years old is not enough to make him TBE if he isn't already TBE. Buster Douglas had his huge win over Tyson but Douglas won't be remembered as one of history's best heavyweights. Tyson will be remembered as one of history's best heavyweights. A boxer is judged on his entire career and not just one big win.
Name someone besides De La Hoya who has conquered 130 through 160. How would conquering 6 weight classes not be an elite accomplishment and add to his legacy?
Roberto Duran. Beat 126 champ Ernesto Marcel, then 130 champ Hiroshi Kobayashi, all the way through to 160 title. While he didn't fight for the title at 130 or 126, he beat the best fighters who were the best champions in those divisions.

I think it hurt Pacquiao too. Everyone I talked to about the fight knew Floyd was going to fight his usual fight but were pissed at Pacquiao for doing jack shizz. Pacquiao didn't seem to have a sense of urgency and didn't go balls to wall when it was obvious he was down so much late in the fight.
LOL are you serious?
Floyd at 160????
why on earth?
Then why not moving up in weight and beat ward and kovalev?
LMAO I cant believe people even think something that stupid
Why would this make his the real TBE? He already beat Canelo and GGG beating someone Floyd already beat means D1ck

Quit with the stupid straw man distractions and stick with what you said. Don't try to squirm out by changing the argument. The scenario you presented does not make him the best ever. The only people who believe that are people who have only watched the last 10 years of boxing.
Learn how to read. I literally said it in the OP.
Would be undisputed TBE if he became undisputed champ at 160.

Name one other fighter who has conquered 130 through 160. I'll wait.

You think beating Golovkin (who has never beaten anyone worth mentioning) or one of the two guys he already beat would make him the best ever? Learn a little about the sport. Threads like this are embarrassing to read.
