So you are saying as long as he avoids all the threats he will be fine? Great plan.
Anyway he better avoid these threats because once he steps up again like he has in the past he gets put down.
So you think there is a chance the WBA is going to make Broner a super champ. Broners next fight being a title fight is straight up bogus. Just think a title fight between two guys that lost their previous fight. Great job WBA now that I think of it make it for the super champion either guy deserves a shot. Geez give me s break.
Fighters have done worse without getting criticism, so not sure what your point is; the WBA currently has their regular(Vargas) and super(Garcia) championships vacant, so they've scheduled two fights with their top four contenders to fill the belts.
Adrien Broner is a 5'6 junior welterweight, without Floyd's ability or commitment to the craft to earnestly compete beyond 140 at the top level. With the business landscape being what it is, Adrien Broner is basically going to be the money fighter at 140, will be fighting for PBC or on Showtime, and Top Rank/Golden Boy/Main Events don't do business with Haymon (blocking their 140lbers from getting the shot).
I think Matthysse doesn't get past the 5'11 Postol in their WBC title fight, and I think that Amir Imam (mandatory challenger to the winner of Matthysse-Postol) is better than the both of them. With Garcia, Peterson and Provodnikov going up to 147, and Rances Barthelemy going down to 135 (with Matthysse also not long for 140), who are the top guys at the weight?:
(BoxRec)
-Terrence Crawford
-Viktor Postol
-Amir Imam
-Adrien Broner
-Cesar Cuenca
-Humberto Soto
-Keith Obara
-Jose Benevidez
-Thomas Dulorme
-Mauricio Herrera
Broner is with Haymon, Imam is with King(who is friendly with Haymon), and Cuenca isn't tied with anyone (title was vacant, so it's unlikely that Cuenca owes anything to Top Rank, allowing him to chase the best opportunity; Haymon has the juice right now); none of the fights will be cakewalks, but Broner is positioned to fight for a WBA/WBC/IBF 140 title (the original unified title) and freeze out the only 140 fighter who would give him hell, Terrence Crawford.
Beyond that, none of the other fighters at 140 are really trouble for even the bit of talent he's shown so far (with no fighter with Top Rank/Golden Boy even getting the opportunity).
hate if you want
yet another thing to distract him from training and making himself a better fighter lol. Can't blame him for trying to get his money tho
The problem is that F@G in the suit is going to take most his money he still has to pay Al Haymon too
These guys need to Establish themselves as winners, ring proven, hardended stee. Before forming some weak promotional company. Broner has skills, but he is not the next great, not unless he shuts up, gets it done in the ring, then he can promote himself as a great. Floyd fought maidana back to back. Broner had enough of Chino, & his chorizo!
The only 'problem' for the "the PROBLEM" was that maidana is a very aggressive brawler, and did not believe the AB hype. Then broner couldn't deal with a tough customer in the ring, AKA 'chino'. Chino straight put them thangs on broner. He laid hands on broner. I enjoyed watching broner, in a pre fight hype show, he was hitting the heavy bag, talking about maidana being strong, and leaving the outcome up to GOD, then taking it all back with some stupid self promoting trash talk that only made him look more fake after Chino broke him off some beat down. . Chino set the record straight, and put it down like the true warrior he is.
Here is the solution to the 'problem'.
1. Stay busy with lots of punches
2. Moves forward and press the action.
3. Don't wait on him.
4. Make him feel it, bring the pain
5. Make him ask the third man in the ring for help!
In the contract:
Parent Company: Al Haymon Boxing
How funny would that be? Broner goes to set up a company and Hymen tells him that he is OK with it as long as he gets to select the company's board of advisors. Broner says sure because all he cares about is having a company only to find out that the board of advisors consists of Hymen, Sam Watson and Roger Mayweather, lol.
Broner tries to buy a Mercedes as a "company car" and Hymen advises him to purchase a Civic instead, lmao.
lol, should've taken jay z's generous offer of 30 million offer for 5 years
now , he is worth 30 k per fight and that slice is only gonna get smaller
Oh no he didnt!!!! No he didnt, thank you for that pearl of wisdom. Maybe, just maybe, broner is more hype? Than skiznills'?? He tried to korn maidana with his dry humping antics, but got man handled.
What a waste of talent, that is what my mentors tell me. Broner needs to be himself. Billions, hahaha, he should have called it 'chump change promotions' !
I just had to laugh at the video where the dude was talking about the promotional company and had to say 'about billions' part. He looked embarrassed when he had to say it, haha.
Holy umm f#ck umm I umm think umm he umm broke umm the umm record umm for umm the umm most umm umm's umm in umm a umm row.
And **** if you can got a name & don't got your own promotional company at this point idk wtf you are doing with your boxing career so seems standard. Guessing there is some tax implications here or something besides everyone & their sparring partner thinking they can make it in the boxing business.
Having said that if his promotion can get involved in PBC like it appears Mayweather's promotional arm has done it would seem like a low risk proposition. And hell with the way PBC works every headline guy could start his own promotional company & just be freelanced to promote his own shows by PBC.
LLCs (limited liability companies) get taxes at basically 20% ; personal income taxes start from 10% and go to basically 40% for any income over $400k (on $1m, the avg rate is about 37% before any offsets).
Beyond that, Haymon is a pretty serious businessman (notice how he still has Warriors Boxing as the lead promoter for the show).
Mayweather Promotions is in a different situation; before PBC had even been announced, Floyd's company had already put on a handful of shows completely on their own, while also having ten fighters officially signed to the company (with Floyd being the banner fighter). He wasn't a major promoter, but when PBC decided to work with his company, at least there was somewhat of a track record to go off of.
Broner has none of that, yet.
lol, should've taken jay z's generous offer of 30 million offer for 5 years
now , he is worth 30 k per fight and that slice is only gonna get smaller
about billions dont work for nobody, he self made. now brush that hair
I'd take that bet in a millisecond.
Guessing the expenses on a inactive or barely active promotional company are minimal & I can't imagine this entity will be trying to compete with PBC, Arum, GBP or HBO at the start. Probably won't even be competing with Mayweather Promotions which I think has had a handful of cards over the last several years.
I've noticed in the past maybe three years, on most of the cards Broner headlines, the same group of guys are on that card. And those were usually promoted by Golden Boy and more recently one of Haymons promoter friends like Warriors Boxing or Lou DiBella. And there would be a few cards where he's not fighting, but would be there and that's usually when Easter, Warren or Bennet fight.
Now that Broner has his About Billions thing going, those cards will obviously be promoted by that company.
And of course they won't be going up against PBC, they will be one of the promotional company's that promotes the PBC cards.
This is just another prime example why red bars should not be allowed to make threads.
Sit your primitive ass down son who pissed in your cereal!!!!!!!!!
As long as Broner continues to prove himself as a ticket-seller in Cincinnati (while also making for car-crash TV) he should be fine, as long as he keeps winning.
Depending on which WBA belt he ends up fighting for (super or regular), Broner could set himself at 140, fight out of Cincinnatti and make a killing
If you're an up and comer, not bad. Robert Easter and Jemel Herring are his first guys. And pretty sure Ra'Shae Warren will end up here.
That boy dope as fk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just another prime example why red bars should not be allowed to make threads.
Great to see him following in 50 cent's footsteps.
What can go wrong? He is probably trying to get PBC money, I'm sure Haymon will have as many connects as possible, more money for him the more promoters he uses.
Boxing is starting to get like the music industry, I remember when everyone started their own label (Floyd and Roy did it).
Just like all businesses, over 95% fail, this will fun to see how it works out.
