Anything done before 1980 doesn't count for the list
1) Ray Leonard
2)Pernell Whitaker
3)JC cHAVEZ
4)Hopkins
5)Holyfield
6)Hearns
7)Hagler
8)Manny Pacquaio
9)ODLH
10)Mayweather
Not a bad list...I'd swap some guys but he really got me tripping with Floyd being below two guys he defeated and guys he defeated more champions than and more title defenses and title fight wins...Also no Roy Jones, Ricardo Lopez or James Toney really got me scratching my head
I know this may rub some the wrong way but I rate Leonard very high all time, but from 1980 his record is 10-3-1...IMO he should have a loss to Hearns just like JCC should have an L to Whitaker and arguably Meldrick Taylor...also Hagler is top 5 all-time as far as middleweights but his resume isn't as deep as some try to make it out to be and truth be told, Hearns even though he lost to both won titles @ 5 weights, got screwed out of a win over SRL and fought waaaaay more fights than they did after 1980
1)Roy Jones
2)Floyd Mayweather
3)Pernell Whitaker
4) Ricardo Lopez:boxing:
5)Pacquaio
6)Hopkins
7)Evander Holyfield(I doubt we'll ever see another fighter be undisputed champ at cruiser and heavyweight)
8)Julio Cesar Chavez
9)Tommy Hearns
10)James Toney

you're not even hiding it anymore are you farakhan?
you disgust me.
I swear some of you are closeted racists. I love how you singled out all the black fighters on his list as if those guys weren't among the most accomplished fighters of the last 20 years. I guess his lists should have put in more non blacks to satisfy you?

Hahahaha Dazed has been officially outed as Louis Farrkhan!!! TBE!
These lists are almost impossible to do. There's guys on that list that could be: Roy Jones jr, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez and Marco Antonio Barrera.
:lol1:
yea, but archer is a bad ass spy. he can get away with it liberally.
kuroko still has to follow the laws of physics and rules of basketball.
motherfckers draining half court shots like steph curry going for a lay up.
:tragedy:
GTFO.
Hahahaha I can't even disagree. Smh

What you know about some Joltin Jeff...yea he was one of those guys we didn't get enough to see, short career
He's one of my absolute favorites of all-time.
A shame his eyes betrayed him. Dude was bad-ass and skilled as fvck
I think half the people posting have barely watched most of the fighters on Fischer's list or their own.
1. Ray Leonard
2. Floyd Mayweather
3. Pernell Whitaker
4. Roy Jones
5. Manny Pacquiao
6. Thomas Hearns
7. Bernard Hopkins
8. Julio Cesar Chavez
9. Evander Holyfield
10. Marvin Hagler

The story of every single anime...ever, hahahaha. **** archer is no different. One of my favorite shows on American tv btw.

duran 135 career doesn't count. pre1980.
sanchez was dead by 1982.
lopez and lennox wasn't greater than floyd or pac.
Take mayweather and oscar off that list.

This may be just a list of his favorite fighters over the last 30 years not the best fighters but I think that list is HORRIBLE especially if we're talking about the best. Roy Jones should be added onto that list. The only two fighters I would place above Floyd are Leonard and Hearns. How is Oscar placed above him when he not only beat Oscar, he beat guys who also beat Oscar? I know someone will say the guys were past their prime but so was Floyd. Not only did he beat Manny he beat the guy who beat Manny. And Hagler should be above Holyfield even though Holyfield is way more popular I think Hagler overall was a more well rounded fighter.
Completely agree.

That is a bad list. Good fighters, but horrible ordering of it.
If :
Jeff Chandler didn't get cataracts
Michael Nunn & Donald Curry didn't become stunads
&
Salvador Sanchez didn't have his fatal car crash
I could see them all fighting for a spot in my top 10

Chavez too high, Pac too low, Floyd too low, Roy over Oscar.
It is what it is tho. This stuff is all opinion so I don't care about the order as long as the right names are there.
