Plaster wraps, the name alone marks this guy's level of intelligence. There are many top level Mexicans but there are alot more non-mexican fighters let's say from heavyweight down to middle weight.
Are we talking Mexicans or US born & bred with Mexican ancestry. There's lots of guys with Mexican heritage (like Velasquez) - Dominick Cruz was an absolute phenom, Anthony Pettis wasn't too shabby. The Diaz brothers were special talents, as is Gilbert Melendez, and Ricardo Lamas (part Cuban).
Anthony Pettis is actually half rican, not half mexican.
-Flyweight(125) and bantamweight(135) are the only UFC weight classes where Mexicans generally have the deep talent pool to develop guys who can compete.
-The UFC view of mixed martial arts is deeply wrestling-based, and I can't recall (outside of Cain Velasquez) many Mexicans wh were able to wrestle at the top level.
Cain is not a real mexican
