Interesting stuff about the weight issues. I hope this gets confirmed and the winner could maybe fight Walters.
Lomachenko is too big and once he lands a clean solid shot it's downhill for Rigondeaux. I'm rooting for Rigondeaux too but when they stand near each other you people are gonna rethink this matchup.
Unless Rigo takes his power away like he did to Donaire...
Im f*cking hyped.
Rigod come to save boxing.
Once/if this is made officially Rigotard army is returning to lay waste to NSB and all his haters. All hail El Chacal

Its not about that. When Crawford went southpaw that distance Gamboa had to cover to land his right hand increased and crawford could pick him apart when he started to jump inhe was done after the four round, he is a midget and doesn't have a World class trainer, the size difference was to big to overcome and he was fighting a very good and young champion, the shots that Gamboa landed in that last round would have decapitate a FW/JLW even a true LW, but the guy was over JWW limit maybe he was a WW...
Once Gamboa started to fade Crawford took over, still he almost got ktfo in the same round he won, only his size help him survive...

134lbs, in the article. Lomacheko doesn't hit overly hard, if it were Walters I'd pick him over Rigo.
I don't think Walters would stand a chance against Rigo if you imposed a 134 lb hydration limit. Dude couldn't lose less than a pound and a half in 2 hours to hold on to his title. He would be a zombie with a 134 hyd limit. You're talking about 12 pounds less than he came into the ring in his last fight.

From what I have seen of Loma, does he use his size like people are saying?
So, this has to easily be the best fight ever between two guys with 20 pro fights combined, right? It's insane to think how few times they've fought yet where they are in the boxing world.
Can we not b*tch about this one, please? If it happens, let's celebrate, because this is a fight worth celebrating.
if hbo can pull this off wow this is such a high level fight and cotto canelo cant beat that now if we can just get them to let kovolav fight stevenson and get arum to put crawford in with bradley or matysee
Great fight.
I kinda see it going the same way Crawford and Gamboa went. Rigo might pull ahead with his tricky style, but as the fight goes on Loma will start catching Rigo with those nasty bodyshots.
Loma by late TKO
Also: Gamboa is not nearly as skilled as Gamboa from a technique standpoint. He's definitely more physically gifted though.
People who said that Crawford won just based on his size are delusional. Once he addapted he started to put on a boxing clynic with his right jab, counters and well placed bodyshots.Once Gamboa started to fade Crawford took over, still he almost got ktfo in the same round he won, only his size help him survive...
Arum kinda f0cked it up little for not matching Loma and Rigo when Loma was undefeated. I would have been historical, its still is, but even more so just like Arum also robbed us from Gamboa and Juanma when both were prime with an 0.
he was only undefeated for 1 fight lol
wow i cant wait its going to be a fight fought at a skill level not often seen. this will be a fight for the purists no doubt about it if rigo can pull this off with the size difference it will be special

If you have ever boxed by yourself or seriosly watched boxing, you would have known that it is much simpler "put on a boxing clynic" with size advantage.
Watch for example Cotto - Trout and the watch how Trout looks like with opponents with equal size. And there are a lot of examples of this.
ITT: littlemac and HEND inadvertently expose themselves as racists
How am I racist? I just posted a post were I said something good about Loma way before your aZZ should up. Am not black yet its obvious black fighters don't get the respect they deserve. How does me making a comment about an observation make me a racist? I talk good and bad about every color in the spectrum. I judge by character and nothing else and feel Rigo deserves the most credit for this so when I see someone like you talking about excuse and how Rigo is going to sleep I think to myself, this mofo should be praising Rigo for being the one making this fight possible rather then b!tch and moan about it.
Am actually glad Loma wasn't willing to meet half way. This just makes Rigo look even better. Triple G should take note.

This is total bull****.
What we want to know? We want to know who is a better fighter, Rigondeaux or Lomachenko. Not Rigondeaux or DRAINED Lomachenko.
The thing is that the bigger man can't give away ONLY size advantage, he would also loose some physical characteristics - speed, stamina.
