Being lineal champ doesnt mean squat. Baldomir was the lineal champ for christ sakes. Until boxing is structured in a way where its based on a process of elimination until the 2 best fighters in each division are squaring off for supremacy in the weight class, being crowned the "champ" holds very little weight.
