of course I'm going to watch.....can't name another fighter I enjoy seeing getting beat up other than Berto.....plus the King is having a victory lap....you have to take a good look because this might be the last time you see a skilled fighter like Floyd....his victory over Pac was the finishing touches on his career and resume...it's victory lap time!!
For me,it basically comes down to whether or not I'm doing anything else that night. If I'm out with friends,or family I'll do that instead. If I find myself bored on Saturday night with nothing to do,I'll watch the fight. Basically what I'm saying is that I won't go out of my way to see the fight, despite the fact that it's free, because I know that there's a 99% chance that it'll just be 12 more rounds of mayweathers boxing, that I've already seen 48 times before, and he won't suddenly turn into an exciting Mike Tyson over night.
This....
I'd rather wine and dine the wife and maybe catch the fight later. No urgency to it at all though.
... 'free' fight... 'charity' fight... 'exhibition' fight...
... Then: fight Lara, doe!
... But if you are afraid to fight Lara, fight Algieri instead!!! :)
... I watch all the boxing fight 'for free'...
... But for Berto I will not wake up at 6:30 a.m. (my time zone)... That's for sure.

I hear you but, I love boxing and I've watched worse, **** I've even ordered worse (Mosley vs mora, b-Hop vs RJJ 2) I watch everything that has to do with boxing. And really don't like mayweather as a person but, respect his boxing skills.
You were the one who ordered that fight?
And that's what I expect.
Especially after the first few rounds, I don't see Floyd playing it safe with Berto. He hasn't fought a weak opponent like this since probably Sharmba Mitchell.
So I think he would put on a show and hopefully get a KO which would be a good way to say farewell.
God will deliver berto into floyd's hands!

I've watched garbage fights on FNFs/Univision/telefutura/azteca/versus but I'm going to pass this up?
99% of this forum will be watching as will be 10's of millions hopefully. No hardcore fans misses a Mayweather or Pacquiao fight even if they just have to stream it.
The last big name fight on network television(In the US)was Tyson vs. Mathis back in 2005. That fight did 26.5 million viewers.
Mayweather is a big enough name that he could hit a very big number, it's going to tell us in this day and age what the top of the pyramid can bring in (viewers/commercial/sponsors)to network and if it's enough money that maybe PPV goes away.
Even if he fights a Berto I don't have a problem with it.
Exactly. I'm hoping this fight blows the PPV model away.
Why not, i wouldn't mind Floyd unleashing his full arsenal and throwing combos, hopefully.....

No way would I even pay 20 bucks for this fight but it is free so why not.
You don't even need to have cable for this fight and people tuned in for a lot worse.
If you say you won't watch your just being bitter.
I hope nobody tunes in to this clown bullsh1t.
how is it clown bull **** he has now fought literally everyone every other fighter in his era has had give me fights
ya i could for sure see it as boring if you want him to lose no doubt about that
no I don't care whether he wins or loses, I never watch his fights, hell maybe he has lost and I didn't see it? oh well I'm sure it was boring
