He clearly says that he has no plan to go to 168 and stay there. It would be only for the right fight and one time event.
He sees it 50:50 in terms of everything including the weight, hence CW 164.. He doesn't want SMW title. He wants the biggest fights and 160 legacy.
You may be misinformed. Ward insisted on 168, Dawson didn't want to but had to oblige. Point is Ward made him come down to his weight not that Dawson wanted to.
With this clear - who was Ward when he made Dawson come to his weight (not even in the middle)
Ward was at the height of his fame, coming off the Super Six tourney. He was clearly the A-side of the promotion. Bad Chad hasn't been the same since.
Dawson issued a challenge to Ward to fight at 168, Ward accepted. Not the same.

164 =|= 160 legacy
asking for the 164 catch weight = p*ssy, insisting on it on further negotiations = double vagina.
You do realize Fraudre Ward said he would go to 160 for Floyd right? Well, he can get to 164 for ggg.
No more blaming Loeffler, it's come out of his own mouth that he wants 164 only for Ward. What a chicken ****.
OK, I get that. But when Ward met Dowson at 168 (refusing to move even a pound) who Ward was than? To you logic he was even less than a chicken. Am I worong here?
Did you guys even watch the Sportsnation video that someone posted on the second page???????
GGG clearly said he wants Ward.... all he said was 50/50 revenue split AND GGG should even get something along the lines of 70/30, he's the A-side. He didn't say anything about a catch weight.
you obviously DKSAB...this is prizefighting, money is always an issue....Froch/Chavez Jr were not coming down to 164...GGG was going up to 168 one time for a big money fight vs one of those two.
Are you really saying that GGG/Ward (at any weight) would have made the same amount of money as GGG/Froch-or-Chavez Jr?
So you are ok with the supposed killer, who cant get fights, to use the high risk/low reward scenario???

Javi, i like how you decline to mention the money, as if money doesn't matter in the boxing game. I will ask you to stop being dense, step away from your biased agenda and be objective. Money matters in professional boxing.
So, let me ask you this, Big Javi...If you were in GGG's shoes, you'd obviously fight Ward at 168, conceding negotiations to him as the A-side...right? because you're a warrior and tough guy...right?
I hate to bring him up, but floyd took what he can vs ODH. Less money, gloves he didnt want ect ect....
I didn't bring up the money cuz IMO it should be 50/50...
But ggg the a side doe. He puts asses in seats doe. He sells out arenas doe.
So why does GGG need another fighter for PPV??? Put him in a PPV vs anybody... hes the "draw" right? he sells out arenas and what not.

It really is funny reading some of these posts.. some of these posters were the same exact ones posting gigantic walls of text about A-Side/B-Side, PPV numbers, risk vs reward, boxing is a business, etc. etc. when it fit their agenda.. Now, suddenly, they no longer understand that "boxing is a bidness" and are singing a completely different tune :lol1:
I'm saying the money to fight Ward is the same at 164 or 168. The only reason to want 164 is weaken Ward. Golovkin going back on his word of "no catchweights, i'll fight anyone between 154-168" because he's not the fighter his fans thought him to be. He's afraid of Ward.
See bolded...that isn't the point. I was illustrating why GGG would move up to 168 for Froch/Chavez, and not Ward. The $$$, and relative skill of the boxers involved.
I can't say GGG is afraid of Ward, we don't truly know what's in any man's heart until they show us...and this isn't one of those times where GGG is showing us.
As the A-side, GGG has the negotiating leverage to request a cw...he's the smaller guy, why shouldnt he tilt the odds a lil in his favor. That's basic gamesmanship and fair play. I swear some of you don't know how the game goes.
The money would be the same at 164, 168. Money isn't the issue Golovkins balls are.

Yes Froch and Chavez Jr are larger, but less talented fighters. Plus they both would've been crazy money, worth going up to a weight you have no business in for a one off fight. Ward is larger and more talented, for comparative peanuts. We're not talking brain surgery here.
A quick google search will prove this to be a lie. It might not stop you repeating it, but it just might stop me responding to you.
so the larger froch & chavez jr at 168 but the smaller ward at 164??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA those are called EXCUSES!!!
Gotta drain ward in order to beat him cuz what??? "hes a better fighter thats why doe its ok for the cw doe" HAHAHAHAHA fuck outta here with that bullshit.
Again, you said 128... was that the official weight he came in at the scales or is that his rehydration weight?

A side has spoken
Eat that d ck sucker fish
U are truly the Queen of the Penis post. Always about the d1ck with u. Damn. Ward would beat the hell out of GGG.
He knows whats up, so he wants to play the drain game.
So its ok to CW ward... but fight froch, chavez jr anyone else 168?

Again, the most Rigo weighed was 125 on the dot.

Actually Rigo weighed 128 for the Marroquin fight back in 2012, he hasn't listed a fight night weight since then.
Rigo agreed to 126 for the Donaire rematch. 124 for Loma doe.
GGG's team is asking for a CW from a larger, more experienced, more accomplished, greater fighter in the weight division 8 lbs north of him. Rigo's team is asking for a CW from a larger, less experienced, less accomplished, lesser fighter in the weight division 4 lbs north of him. Totally different doe. Different planets doe.

We already know that Rigo is a really small 122 lbr... he can easily fight at 118. Again, the most Rigo weighed was 125 on the dot. Loma has weighed in 125 1/2 twice. How convenient that you ignored loma's weights from the comment.
Also, those are the fight night weights right that you stated about rigo? Would love to see you state loma's fight night weights as well
