Guy legit acts like a chick trying to keep everyone in suspense(as if his fights are anything but suspenseful) by delaying the announcements of his fights... While it might be a smart marketing move, if he's going to call himself TBE, he should at the very least, give his opponents the PROPER TIME to actually train... what a joke this guy is... I think you're missing the part where it's not a matter of Floyd 'giving an opponent enough time to train'. It's not as if these fighters are under Mayweather Promotions. Negotiations have to take place before a fight is agreed to, meaning whoever Floyds camp is negotiating with would make their fighter aware well in advance before the fight is announced to the public. In other words, it's not up to Mayweather when his opponent begins to train. One would assume that if a person's camp is in negotiations to fight Mayweather they would have the common sense to start preparing themselves in the event that negotiations are successful. That's what any professional athlete that's serious about their craft would do. People are assuming Mayweather is already at least beginning to train for his fight. Whether he is or isn't is irrelvant. Everyone knows that his next fight is on September 12th, his next potential opponent included. Anyone that would wait until Mayweather officially announces the fight to begin training obviously isn't serious about boxing and probably shouldn't be fighting him to begin with.

I am very surprised that a fight has not been announced yet. Was Floyd waiting for Thurman? If you're going to fight Khan just fight Khan. I think the delay is because Floyd is actually going to fight a guy like Mayfield or Berto, and it's now a matter of figuring out how to make $40 million dollars on a matchup that they can't sell as a PPV.

Simply because he hasn't made an announcement doesn't mean that the fight has not already been made. Yes he is annoying when he probably has known for weeks now who his opponent will be. Still any fighter who has a chance of being the chosen one should be keeping his weight down and staying in shape. They are pro fighters and that's their job. if they are lean and doing light training all the time then 6 weeks of hard training is enough to be ready for the biggest fight of their lives. If they are fat and out of shape 12 weeks might not be enough time to be ready. Smart boxers always stay ready. I think Khan will get the fight of his dreams and he probably has already been training for it. Khan will make Mayweather lots of money and I don't think he will have any problem beating Khan. Khan is just a guess on my part and there are many other fighters he could chose. I wish he would just tell the world who his opponent will be NOW!!!!
