I never usually do this but for the first time in a while I'll be watching UFC over boxing on a night with two solid fights. I'm really looking forward to Herrera-Lundy however McGregor is too good to not watch. So I'll be recording Herrera +Thurman fights for sunday morning and I shall be watching Mcgregor-Mendes. How about you guys?
Predictions:
-Herrera UD
-Thurman UD/Late Stoppage
-McGregor KO
Edit: Yes I am aware of Flanagsn-Zepeda and the German card however they are hours earlier so there's no reason you can't watch that too. These three fights are within a closer time frame.
Only fight I have a true interest for this weekend is the 108 lbs division super showdown between ex unified straw weight champion Chihuas Rodriguez Jr. and the reigning Jr Flyweight kingpin, Donnie Nietes.
I wonder how many of the 'real boxing fans' watched that?
I already knew Thurman was gonna win & expected Herrerra to get jobbed...so decided to watch UFC...was worth it tonight!
Shout out to all the fans that can appreciate every sport:boxing:
ufc was already the better show tonight (before the main event)
missing out if you're into that silly sports fan loyalty stuff.. its all entertainment
Damn right
IDGAF if you don't like MMA, but you're missing a phenomenal MMA card. Lalwer just won one of the best welterweight fights ever.
McGregor's reach advantage is ridiculous.
Why in the **** must boxing fans always have to bring up MMA on a boxing forum. I think you should be banned just for promoting MMA and it's fight.
STFU and don't click on the thread then jackass.

SMH some of you guys pissing on MMA like it's against boxing. I love that UFC is shown for free at the bar with people cheering for it. I watched the last two events with two local boxing trainers (pro & amateur) and in the past with a local boxing promoter. These guys have no affiliation with MMA but appreciate & respect it at the high level.
agreed. i never rly followed/watched MMA, but dont disrespect it either. its just another sport. theres no need to hate it because its different. but i do talk **** about it jokingly haha.
BUT, im watching mcgregor tonight live, just 'cause the hype is too much hahaa. like another poster said, hamed of the mma?
I'm watching the Herrera vs Lundy fight first and foremost. Then I'll catch the replay of Thurman. Who's McGregor?
A modern day Warlord from Ireland. Check out the Avi!!

I'm watching the UFC from 8 o'clock. The preliminary card is solid. Then at 10 strats the main card. I'm gonna DVR the Boxing fights and watching them the next day.
Thurman-Collazo and streaming the UFC bout. McGregor is a crazy dude with some real serious fighting skills, so I have to at least stream that fight.
This is the plan right here. Not sold on the loud mouth yet, I haven't seen any serious ground skills from him yet.
