It's interesting that both guys have the same number of controversial decisions. Only difference is that the more marketable, English speaking, Haymon fighter had them all in his favor

It wasn't the question maybe...?
Stop whining, as far as I see nobody doubted that Garcia beat Matthysse. Sit back, relax.
but that wasn't the point of the thread, that's just you being extremely butthurt lol

As much of a sh*t show as this thread will be, I'll participate.
I had Lucas beating Judah and Alexander, and obviously he lost to Garcia. Judah could have gone either way, and the judges who scored it for Judah both had the scorecard that was possible for Judah, so I don't think it was a robbery. So Matthysse has 2 losses.
Never seen Garcia/Theophane, can't comment. Herrera clearly beat him, and PEDerson could have gone either way. I scored it for Garcia.
So I guess based on how I personally scored them, both have 1 loss, but based on how they could justifiably be scored, Matthysse has 2 and Garcia has 1. Again, haven't seen Theophane, so I don't know how that fight went.
How many times has Lucas Mathysse beaten Danny Garcia? I forget.

I accidentally voted for Garcia. In reality I think they are equal in term of losses.
Matthysse on my card won against Alexander and against Judah too, his only legitimate loss was against Danny.
Danny on my card drew with Herrera but lost to Peterson, so he has also one defeat in my book.

Who won then they fought? Garcia completely convincingly beat him when everybody said he was running.
He sonned Matthysse so much, he put Matthysses fans into hiding for 6 months.
-Danny won the Peterson fight because, for the first 7 rounds, all the judges saw was one fighter(Peterson) on his bike while the other fighter(Garcia) kept pushing the action forward.
-Danny won the Mauricio Herrera fight because he was able to match Herrera, punch for punch, behind power shots while Herrera fought almost exclusively behind a light jab.
-Garcia vs Theophane was a nip/tuck fight, that went Garcia's way (from what I recall)
why folks insist so hard in trying to diminish Danny "Swift" Garcia is beyond me.
well like i said in this thread already, i had danny winning 7-5 mainly due to Lamont's inactivity, excessive movement and not landing any punches
with that said, the fight was so close that i could see either guy getting the win, it's just that Danny gets the close call in every single close fight that makes it kinda questionable
if neither guy is landing or very accurate, i always give the round to the guy taking the most risks, and peterson took no ****ing risks in the first half of that fight, this is something lara fans fail to realize on why he lost the canelo fight, yeah canelo wasn't landing more than lara but he was taking more risks when both of their punch stat percentages were virtually identical

Judah outboxed Matty until the last few rounds. Matty started too late in that fight
what does outboxed mean? he backpedaled around the ring throwing a jab that came up woefully short while lucas landed hard punches. thats outboxing?
Dont know and really dont care after all the sh1t Mattyhsee fans talked about him killing Garcia only for him to get swole up and dropped
so because you are annoyed by some fanboys you don't care about any other fight that happens in garcia's career? you are so annoyed that you pretend a foul is a knockdown? well i just have to say...that is pretty annoyed
I had Danny winning the Peterson fight 115 113 and the Theophane fight though I need to watch it again. had him losing to Herrera 8-4
I thought lucas easily beat both Judah and Alexander
SO imo both should have one defeat

Garcia beat Lamont. Lamont whooped Garcia's ass but literally gave away 5 of the first six rounds. And he lost 1,2 of the Last six. If anything draw would 've been the best case scenario for Peterson but just because he was the bigger stronger fighter and showed that late in the fight doesn't mean he won or the fight was co treversial. Fights are won by rounds. Not damage.
Just my two pennies.
