I don't see his manager Cameron Duncan advising him to go to pbc. That would take away cam's power with hbo and too rank..which is pretty considerable for a manager. He's also made rios a lot of money Question: Is Dunkin's power/influence with HBO due to him working with Top Rank, or vice versa? Because the days of Top Rank being the defacto house promoter for HBO are seemingly done. Rios is almost finished with Top Rank, Mikey Garcia is currently in legal limbo, and they have Marcos Maidana working out of the gym (where they've been able to see and kinda experience how business is done with Haymon, good or bad). No idea how many fighters are with Duncan, let alone who they are, but what's barring him from saying "Thanks for the support, but there's not enough business coming through Top Rank to keep the fighters I'm looking after enough work; we'll look elsewhere"? He's got to fulfill whatever fights owed to Top Rank, but that's it.

Thats why he is not being promoted because he reportedly has one fight left with top rank, and once its over Brandon Rips will go to Pbc. Top Rank is trying to sideline Rios till the end of the year for one more fight against Bradley where they hope he looses. So when he looses his stock will drop. By keeping him unactive he will likley loose his next fight because of not being inactive ^^^^source?

Let's hope he'll sign up with Haymon, so we can see who among Haymon's over-protected fighters would duck him. :usa2:

I thought he looked pretty good against Alvarado. Although Alvarado wasn't exactly in the best shape for that fight. I thought he look good against Alvarado as well. **** it I give him credit Jotto's fans give him credit regardless of the garbage he has been fighting as of late.

The Top Rank pool of WW is pretty small. So a move would open up more opitons. I do like the Bradley fight however. I'm not sure there's many 'name' WW's are out there that i see Rios beating.

Rios goes to the PBC he better hope that hedge fund doesn't start drying up.

He could probably beat Guerrero and maybe Berto but that's about it. I think he loses to fringe guys like Algieri and Alexander.

He has lots of flaws but he give his all 100% of the time and he has all the heart in the world. I love that in a fighter. Which is why people like Rios as I stated. But how are you going to show any of that in mismatches?

Id rather watch Rios give his all and fight a tough fight and lose than watch the premadonna's who try look pretty and win. I'll always watch a fighter with all the heart in world who has flaws but tries his best and fights anyone over a guy who has all the talent and skill but doesn't give 100%., Why are you mad? I'm a fan of Rios moron, why would I want to see him fight easy fights? To admire his technique or boxing ability?

In a vid the other day robert garcia said pbc treats rios better than top rank lol.. So what you say kinda makes sense Top Rank treats it's fighters like sh*t, every fighter except Manny has wanted to leave. Cotto, Floyd, Garcia, Gamboa and I keep going and going. Oscar... Rios is just the next one in a long line of guys. The thing is though, Top Rank makes you a better fighter and don't feed your ego or baby you more than build you.
