Roy dosen't fight like that though. I'd give the edge to him but not by much. Kovalev is easy to hit. Roy would have been the favourite with his incredible speed.

I have Roy Jones Jr. winning in a 12 round UD decision. Kovalev would have some moments but the athleticism, speed and skills of Roy would be too much. Probably would end in a 116-112 or 117-111 type of decision for Roy Jones Jr.

It was a horrible stoppage, but the truth is, Sergey was finished. He'd been broken both mentally and physically. Even without the last shot which was a little low, the fight would have been stopped regardless.

Kovalev no doubt.. A perfect example of what I've wrote above. There would obviously have been a huge doubt.

Over 2 fights, Andre proved that Sergey wasn't the T-1000 that a lot of people thought he was. For months we had a number of people making statements such as: "Roy wouldn't have lasted 2 round rounds" "Kovalev would have destroyed any version of Roy" Now it's time for a reality check. Although Kovalev would always have been an extremely dangerous opponent for Roy, Roy would had to have been the clear favourite going in. Roy's speed along with his other great attributes, would have given Sergey an absolute nightmare.

Kovalev is a stand up Euro style boxer. That style would get him 12-0'd.
