Too much to pass up?
Thinking therebwill be a rematch.
floyds performance regardless of true injury or not was crappy. Both put on a crappy performance imo.
Who thinksbthe first fight was all about money.
I felt pacquiao was personally motivated for this fight and couldn't push Floyd at all so I think it was round three, where I knew manny just was overwhelmed. He made a face, I think it was round four...need to see the fight again but he made a face that was telling.
If anything proved me right tho, was when max kellerman asked manny if he was toughest fighter he faced, or hardest fighter....something to that effect and manny responded with no, but it was a no that reiterated how angry and upset he was and now he felt about Floyd.
I don't think that Floyd's performance was bad at all, hell I was even impressed by Manny somewhat. It was a very cerebral, defensive fight and a true chess match, I enjoyed it personally.
Drop the rematch talk. Only way it happens is if pac leaves arum. He's suing floyds manager for 100 mil ffs
Good point....
But honestly I can see the suit being dropped in December and rematch announced in January
sadly, with all the recent **** talking and no news of a Floyd opponent, I think that's exactly what's going to happen.
I so strongly doubt that happens but crazier things have happened so :dunno:
And no, it wasn't all about the money, it was personal for Pacquiao, far more personal than he lead on to believe which is why he didn't give Mayweather credit and instead made excuses. Knoncz came out and said it was personal, all stemming to the whole drug testing fiasco.
It can't all be about the money when you saw how serious Mayweather was throughout the promotion and how he pushed himself in training. It just seems to me like you might have loaded up another excuse really.

I agree with you. Pac knows he is inferior to Floyd and could never beat him.
Mayweather found his range and comfort very early in the fight and I honestly don't think he expected it to be that easy. He also said he knew he had Pacquiao based on the first round. It's one of those cases of, Mayweather not having to change his approach/ or Pacquiao not having the tools to make Mayweather change said-approach, it made the fight uneventful for many but for me, highly enjoyable.
The last thing we should be talking about is a rematch, no need for one.

Well, of course the money would be hard to say no to. Over 100 mill? Cmon now.
But if it's true about injury, I also agree with whoever talked about that Pac would have ruined everything as far as people flying out, booked hotels, etc. etc. That damage could of been worse.
Maybe he thought Jr. would be old overnight enough that his injury wouldn't matter, or maybe he didn't have an injury and just took Jr. light. I mean hell, he was posting almost a daily routine of videos of his training online... When Pac looked most impressive, I don't think his training videos surfaced online, it was more under wraps.
He probably took it because of the money and because his promotor and trainer told him he would beat floyd easy. Turned out he couldnt do **** in the ring and got a big payday, he never stood a chance.
Couldn't do **** in the ring? So why did Floyd have to resort to hugging, headlocking, pushing the head, pushing the face, running?
It's on video you know. Lol.
Anyone who thinks the fight was about anything OTHER than money, put up their hand? Men in white coats are waiting to take you for a nice ride in the back of a padded truck. :)
Nah..........glory & the fans? Seriously he fights for the money just like everyone else does. Only fans (in their dreams) fight for the glory and the title!
