True champions bounce back good fight Shawn see you in September......#aboutbillions #BronerVsPorter2 A photo posted by Adrien Broner (@adrienbroner) on Jun 25, 2015 at 11:25am PDT
Why is there a need for a rematch? Porter dominated the whole fight and Broner held every chance he got.
lol @ Floydiots who don't want to see May/Pac II because it was decisive but do want to see Broner/Porter II despite it being decisive. Those double standards tho.
Can't be next fighter of the decade without rematches doe.
Hahaha
How does this benefit Porter in any conceivable way and which fans are screamingfor this?
Good point. At the moment the Broner rematch would be a step down for Porter (career wise), he should get the opportunity to face a better rival after dominating Broner.
There's a good chance they throw a truckload of money at Porter to get the rematch, they've spent so much building him already, may as well double down
But, to me, Guerrero-Broner is the fight to make. They have the history, fighting on the same promotion, etc. Both guys are looking to come back... it's a fight that makes sense.
That would be a huge fight, they have real history between them. Should be good buildup
No thanks. Not only was it dull, but it wasn't even competitive.
Porter ran out easy winner..no need for a rematch.
Broner will be fighting 'Molina' type opponents again for the next year or so.
Porter turns his fights into wrestling matches by rushing into the opponent all the time, that's not boxing, he should be a MMA fighter. Broner showed him what real boxing is about in the last round. Broner will win the rematch and I'm pretty sure of that, now he knows the dirty rough tactics he is up against.
Lol, watch Broner vs Maidana and Broner vs Porter again. I don't know what leads you think that Broner would fair better against those guys on rematches. He was gun shy on both fights, he got overwhelmed by Maidana's pressure first and then we found out (I already knew it though) that he didn't improve anything and got overwhelmed by Porter's pressure. To say that Broner would beat him on a rematch must confirm that you have some agenda toward one of them or both because an objective observer wouldn't say a thing like that based on their last fight.

Why??????? The fight was a stinker thanks to Broner's disqualification worthy holding and it was not remotely close. With the exception of the 12th round Porter threw and landed far more punches in every round. Broner will go back to fighting very soft opposition because he can't beat the best as Porter and Maidana have clearly shown. Broner talks one hell of a good fight but just like Khan, he fails to deliver.
I scored it 9-3, the fight really wasn't competitive and about 2/3rds of the way through Broner didn't even want to fight any more, he'd had enough.
Broner needs to move back down to 140 to fight Peterson, or maybe fight Danny Garcia at 144.
He has no business in the ring with Shawn Porter.
