Please explain why the late money is coming in on Broner? I have read about the weight issues or lack there of and all kinds of things. If this fight was at 147 , PORTER would be the favorite. However, with a no rehydration clause, I would think Porter benefits but the line is moving in Broners favor. I am open to conspiracy theories and all. Thank you!! Please respond.
Notice the odds on a draw are pretty low.....14/1, typically they are about 20/1 or something like that. The odds look like they are pretty even in terms of winning by KO/TKO but are favoring Broner to win by decision. Yeah, word is out that Mayweather is going to use his pull to get some crazy scores for the tin can man tonight. Porter's only chance is to win by knockout to save the world from seeing just how corrupt boxing can get.
Put my $$$ on a draw and I feel like it's a win-win for me. Bromer will look good early but Porter will take over from the 4th round and dominate. Barring no knockdowns or KO I see the judges giving Broner some late rounds to make it a draw.
This fight is smelling like a rematch. A rematch that can happen on the undercard of Mayweather's September PPV
The Lemiuex-Ndam fight really has me worried on who to put $$$ on. Lemieux is EVEN by KO at bovada
All you do is cry about robberies for haymon fighters. Ironic considering your fav fighter was in one of the biggest robberies in the last 50 years
Not all Hymen boxers, just a few, the "PBC superstuds". Bradley got robbed in the Chaves fight, so it's all good. Broner's career is being kept afloat by the careful matchmaking and protection from Hymen....they WILL go to great lengths to protect their investment in him. They are marketing him as one of the most elite boxers on the face of the earth, reality is he is a spoiled brat who comes off as lazy.

If theres late money on Broner than Haymon must be paying some judges off like he did on Floyd vs Madaina 1

Word is probably out that Broner's only chance is a "Vegas decision" and that's where Floyd Mayweather comes into play. Everyone knows that Porter is going to do a number on Broner so the call has been made, the judges are in place and the cards are once again stacked in the favorite's corner. Another atrocity on air for the world to see.

Heavyfist, thank you for your insight. To all the others that posted about the line changes when money is bet on one fighter and yada yada, No Chit !! I understand how gambling works, my question is why are people placing the money in Broner now.
Heavy fist gave the kind of answer I was looking for .
I take it to mean very little money has been wagered on the fight ... the odds shift wouldn't be great if there were millions and millions being bet because one or two bets, even big-money bets, wouldn't tip the scales much.
Don't they shift the odds if too many people are betting on one guy?
Goes without saying.
Thats the only way odds change.
But, odds only shift a few points, usually. It's extremely rare to see such the amount it has changed, in such a short amount of time.
What did so many people see since yesterday that has convinced them that Broner is now the fav, when Porter first was?
It's obviously the weigh in, but what is about the weigh in? Well, I think people saw that Broner is actually the taller one, which I didn't personally realize. I think people saw the same thing.
And, Broner did look very lean, but Porter just looked kinda small to me. His waist looked very thin.
Gambler, Thank you for clarifying my statement. ... I guess deep down, I want to see Broner lose so I would like to be able to bet on Porter but it looks like that is not going to happen. Broner must be feeling great and his weight is a not issue..... Are you going to be placing a bet?
I don't like giving advice on who to bet on, but if you feel Porter go for it, you are getting the odds now. If you think it is risk bet according to that, the odds are often not in line with reality and if you think people are betting the wrong way you have to take advantage then or you will never make money gambling.

Odds shift got you worried?
i think only thing to worry about now is funky cards, but betting wise, Porter is slightly more favorable
This is kinda concerning
I remember looking at the odds when the fight was first announced and Porter was the favorite, I just checked and Broner is even or the favorite
This rarely happens. If this fight goes to a decision, expect broner to get the nod

Broner was the underdog yesterday (slight) after the weigh in and the rehydration clause go taken out. Everything looks to be in Porter's favor now and money is flowing in on Broner to the point he's the fave now.... so yea

I believe that is what he is saying, he thinks the line should be moving Porter into more favored status, while the line is actually going more toward Broner's chances.
The lines move like that to keep the money coming in evenly on both sides, that way there is no way the book loses just taking their percentage for taking the bet.
Broner is the more popular (using that term loosely) known fighter, and he looked the bigger man than the supposedly more physical Porter.
Broner is considered the better skilled more versatile boxer of the two, and if he is actually the bigger more physical guy what does Porter have to fall back on?
